Most frogs will land upside down a third of the time. Bass will srtike them both ways as long as the feet are kicking up water. Just think, the bass don't see the large hook when it's upside down ;D

Florida record for crappie is 3.83 pounds, while the world record stands at 4.8 pounds. If your specks were 3+ why didn't you apply for the state record? At 22" if might have been 5lb.

I'm different, I rig my super flukes upside down(barb is inside the flap) It seems to fall more natural. Fished slow with a slight twitch. Hits are always on the fall.

The "FH" Stradic is not built as good as the older wood handle model. I have the 2500fh, it's ok. I've fished for 20 years with the SS 1300 Whisker Daiwas. There's nothing wrong with Pflueger and Okuma reels. I have the President, Alumina, and Diablo. I don't know about the Energy, I like my Quantum Catalyst PTi.
