a guide falling out is a broken rod.if it's new it should be exchanged under warranty.

get suffix elite and save yourself a ton of headaches !!!

I use graphite and braid with no problems.

sufix elite if you are going to use mono.sufix 832 10 lb test braid if you want braid.a bigger spool reel will cast further.if you look at pro fishermen they hardly ever use small spinning reels.

that now I hate fishing with my older heavier stuff.i bought a revo mgx and falcon bucoo and together they weigh around 10 oz.fishing with this combo is a joy because it's almost weightless.my other stuff is all good quality but none of it is as light as this combo.i find myself wanting to replace all of it.

suffix 832 and powerpro super slick are 2 of the best braids out there.i wouldn't waste my cash on anything else

I would set them up with 14 to 20 lb test.forget limiting the size spinnerbait.by having different lb tests a given weight spinnerbait will run shallower or deeper.

as far as I know pflueger has made their own rods for years.they also make fly rods.

the regular reel weighed 8.0 oz. the wide spool was 8.4

I keep my spool tension loose just tight enough not to have spool sideplay.my thumb takes care of the rest.shimano brakes do work well.pflueger brakes have return springs so you need more shoes on.i really love the abu mgx adjustable centrifugal system.in my opinion it outcasts any others I've used.

centrifugal is good.dual is better.externally adjustable centrifugal like the abu Garcia mgx has is best.

baitcast or spin?if it's baitcast you may have dirt in the levelwind.

I love my pfluegers.these look like nice reels.
