if u get powerproget super slick.regular powerpro is outdated.stay away from spiderwire.sufix 832 is the roundest most tightly wound braid.i've used braid since the early 90's and have tried most of them.

agree totally.would use suffix 832 in 50 lb test with no leaders.

the less light the harder black is to see.gray and black blend against darker backrounds.

i would never fish under 50 on a baitcaster.if you want thin fish 10 lb on spinning.color the last 5 feet black and it will be harder to see in murky water.

find rocks and crank it over them .stop when it contacts and let it float up then restart.a lot of times it will get blasted on the restart.

it's not bad braid it's just no where near 832.it loses it's color faster.it's not as round or tightly wound.it doesn't sink.832 will give you less slack because it sinks.832 is a whole lot more abrasion resistant.832 is an 8 strand braid where as performance is a six strand and not as smooth.i would take performance over original powerpro.i would take powerpro super slick over performance.i would take 832 over any other braid.i've been using braid since the 90's so i've tried a whole bunch of them and imho 832 is the best one yet.

stick with 832.why go backwards?

that is why I will not buy any reel without a aluminum or magnesium frame.i have had that happen on graphite frame reels.as far as I know the neck on that reel is a composite.

there are no bad times to use braid.

when using braid you should have a 1 inch diameter wood dowel to wrap your braid around and pull when snagged.no broken rods or reels or cut hands that way.

or just get sufix 832 andforget the leader.spend more time fishing and catching and less time playing with your tangles.

if flouro is invisible then there should be no difference in catch rate.i would go with 15.

you might want to consider the orra by ag.it's an aluminum frame and has a better braking system than the pro max.

all braid no leaders.
