  1. Can't say Argggghhhh very well with a hillbilly accent.
  2. I have decided for the kind of fishing I do I have what I need. Some Avids and Carrot Stix matched with Revo's. Seems to work alright for me and I have 5 BC setup for different techniques even though I only take 2 at a time.
  3. I agree, I fish and try to manage some farmer's ponds where I can only fish and I keep my limit of 10-14 inch bass whenever I feel like cleaning fish. I will admit, if there is sufficient oxygen even in the summer the fish are good if they are properly cared for. We throw them in a bucket of ice water, and normally fry during the summer months in a deep fryer. Bass over 2 lbs are a no no though unless fatally hooked and not revivable.
  4. I would say, but that already cost you $8 ;D
  5. Archer would be a great name Dave!
  6. Here is my little buddy, his name is Rockne V Greif, comes from a great line of Champion solid liver shorthairs and has a nose from hell. He goes crazy when I fart cause the smell isnt normal ;D
  7. There was a Christian Rock Band when I was back in high school that made the news because of their name, "Failed Abortion". Always made me wonder
  8. Nice fish and I believe that may be a tiger musky with those kinds of markings. Either way nice fish!
  9. We went on a guided salmon trip on Lake Michigan after graduating college. The 5 of us had our share of drinks, and the guide was great, telling us enjoy your time guys, have another beer guys, sit back and relax. He stayed out an extra 2 hours to get us our limit, and when we tried to tip him he refused, saying I dont take tips from poor college kids. I think between the 5 of us there have been around 10 trips back on teh same boat, with well deserved tips given every time. The service, knowledge, and caring tells me what to tip anywhere.
  10. Go sky diving Go cliff diving Fish with Tin, 4Bizz, Burley And catch a DD in Iowa... it will be done along with the others.
  11. Great service, great communication, great everything! And Dave, great to see you here and between TW and Reeds I rarely order elsewhere.
  12. I cast with whatever hand I need to based on boat position and where I want to cast. I always cast with 2 hands, but I always reel with the right one.
  13. No stretch and sensitivity. In darker water and fishing unpressured fish it is IMO a much superior line. I can tell a big difference when I fish braid compared to Yozuri I fish on one of my rigs. Braid just transmits a bite so much better, and for where I fish I have found no reason to switch other than treble hook lures. It also last longer. I am on my 4th season of the same braid on two reels. I just switch the line every year from one reel to the other so the old braid is on the bottom and the "new" braid is what I am using.
  14. Thanks Jimzee, I will try the bleach. I will have yall know it is a blistering 58 degrees. Which may not be cold to most but is for me when I'm in short and flip flops playing in the garden hose. I would love to be in 58 degrees in shorts and flip flops playing in the garden hose >
  15. 60 and sunny here on Wednesday in balmy Iowa. Best part is no snow in the forecast and the cold weather seems to be on its way out.
  16. 42" musky, 6 foot M rod with 20 lb braid, old baitcaster of my buddies, 1/4 oz jig, in canoe, and nothing but a trout net. it was a great first fish of the year! Not to mention it is the only musky still in that pond.
  17. Grumpy old men Goldman: Good morning "richard" head Gustafson: Hello, moron.
  18. Raw palm means good things!
  19. That or Franks Red hot for me.
  20. Ike is one of the worst, fish banging every part of the boat before he does his break dance. Granted a fish to me isnt worth hundreds of thousands of dollars but their promoting of the sport is lacking.
  21. What station are you guys seeing this on? I just scrolled the movie channels and did not see it on?
  22. Do they advertise here?
  23. I use the *** 4.25 beaver craw. It is big and has done very well for me. I could post several pictures but a few are on Brent's site.
  24. I got my butt handed to me 3 years ago on a spinnerbait bite. I was literally outfished 4 to 1, same spinnerbait, burned above some vegetation and got smoked as he had a gulp trailer and I have a double twister tail. >
  25. Had ok luck with them, they seem to put a big hole in the fish, not sure if that is due to sharpness. I have not broke any worm hooks off, but I cannot say the same about Gammy's. I broke a total of 6 hooks last year, and they are not small hooks and did not have that many fish on any of them. For $.99 I would try them.
