All that also its the fact the MVA has a branch that charges intrest plus the fact i bought tags with my money and paid taxes that makes them legally mine.them using the word IF,s and DONT .Dont hold up in court if i went that route For anything else you do in this state u have a option to appeal it with tags u dont .the MVA is robbing us blind with these outrages claims of guilty until proven innocent.Waaaaaaaaaaaay too much gov for me Way toooo hard to read for me

I was given an extra week of vacation last week by the boss, and if we have a really wet spring like last year and people are not planting crops I am going to try and drive down Friday night and come back Wednesday. I will not know until a few days before, and am not making any plans other than sleeping in my truck and meeting some of the people but my review Friday gave me some hope as far as making it. Unfortunately I wont partake in the dinner if I make it because I dont want to register for something I am not sure of. Either way a couple inches of rain the first week of April would be nice!

Not my biggest but the biggest I have pictures of on this computer and the "Best" bass I have ever caught as I hooked her, and let my dad reel her in. A little payback for all those times growing up. His biggest landed bass, she was 6.5 lbs about(Dont remember the exacts). Just a little ole Iowa girl.

We call them smoking a fatty around here. Roll out whatever ground meat you want to use, insert whatever fillings you want, wrap in bacon, and smoke over some hickory and apple. My favorite is brat sausage, mushrooms, jalapenos, hashbrowns, cheddar cheese, and garlic. If this weather stays how it is I am going to have to fire up the smoker soon and make a few.

I hear what Tin is saying. I got some Shake-E-2 heads or whatever were given away graciously by Bobby. After seeing that gesture I bought some of the jigs too. Let me preface this by saying I have had serious problems with Gammy hooks, and I do use 50 lb braid but the industry should be able to make a good hook that can handle it. Needless to say I broke 2 hooks on the shakey heads and one of the jigs snapped the hook clean off on the first...I mean first hookset I made(could of been the only tree in the whole pond I hit). Needless to say I will not complain about a gracious company but after this, and a couple other experiences I had with Gammy this summer I will not purchase anything that has their hook on it.

I had a good friend that could find fish, structure, etc. with no problem. On a "sensitive" bite he could fish a Loomis and I could fish an Ugly Stick and catch more fish than he did because he had dead hands. Part of it is confidence and part is experience. If you dont know what you are looking for chances are you will not find it. That being said a better rod put more quality fish in the boat for me.

Unless you are a good friend of mine or we are fishing a pond, if I can shoot you with a bow you are too close... but that is for me to know and you to find out.

Started training a 48 year old guy Monday to do my current position and do you think he wants to listen to me...no. Does it help he has a CPA which seems to make him God...no. But I cannot wait for him to take it over >

I have hunted Pike County on some of the remaining private ground that is not leased or bought by those with $. It is a fantastic place to hunt but the price to hunt anywhere near there is very high. The one thing that is nice about that area is the number of people that manage the herd and take mature bucks, management bucks, and also does to keep the herd in check. That being said I would take Southern Iowa any day.

Tonight is suppose to be the real eye opener, but last night left something to be desired.

Southern Iowa, look up the current world record deer and if you think it was a fluke check how well the surrounding counties do. I saw 5 different B&C bucks bow hunting this year in 9 days while in the stand. If the locals were dumb enough in the area I hunt to post pictures on the internet or put deer in the books it would be near impossible to hunt in the 2 counties.

Just set the DVR so I dont miss any episodes. I cannot wait to start the season as not having last season on was a downer to my winter.
