  1. Thanks. I have no clue how much current they produce. That was my crazy way of asking I'll just try to fish early in the morning, all night, 11:00 - 12:00 pm, and right before dark.
  2. I just noticed something on the lake conditions report. The gates are open from 11:00 am until 8:00 pm. Current during the heat of the day? That makes me want to try heat stroke! I'm sure the fish respond positively to the current. Please tell me I'm wrong.
  3. Awe dàmn, sorry to hear that.
  4. Cool. Let me know bud.
  5. Whew, sorry so long winded. Like said, I'll be at Fin and Feather Friday thru Sunday. Would love to meet anybody around buy em a coffee, drink, lunch whatever. I'd be honored to do that to show my appreciation for all I've learned from y'all.
  6. Makes sense to me. My main problem is I don't know exactly where to look for a huge grass bed cause I don't have any past knowledge of where they were the year before. I'll find em with more trips. I've only been to Housen one weekend last February and one morning last month. Only been to the back of Six Mile one Sunday morning last March. Caught 10 in an hour and the lightning ran me home. Once to Pirate's Cove on a Sunday morning before coming home. That's my life's experience on the south end so I have a ways to go
  7. Thanks Catt. I'll look harder this weekend. I'm still a rookie on The Bend especially on the south end. I'm obsessed so I'll learn it.
  8. I'm from Marksville. You could try Hodge's Garden from the bank. Good luck.
  9. I'm from Marksville. You could try Hodge's Garden from the bank. Good luck.
  10. I always have a jig tied on myself I just assumed I needed to be deeper this time of year on that ocean ( to me ). Maybe I should just fish like I fish and quit worrying about changing so much. Thanks.
  11. Also, nice job Grass Man
  12. I love grass and a month ago what I found was sparse at best from Housen to San Miguel so I'm interested in this current discussion cause I'll be there early Friday morning until Sunday. When I say grass I mean hydrilla type not the hay grass.
  13. Welcome. Nice to meet ya. Thanks, I'm interested. I'll try to send you a message.
  14. I'm coming buddy. I'll be like that shortly. Still hunting a camper trailer. See ya on the Blue Moon
  15. It is. Hell, it's too hot to live right now. I work in it every day and can't take two more. Ti poisson is going nocturnal!
  16. Great! Thanks for the info. Hope we cross paths one day.
  17. Glad I was circling, I guess. I'll be at Fin and Feather July 31st till August 2nd. Too hot so I'll be trying to night fish. Been awhile. I found the last RV spot at Twin Oaks on Six Mile now I just need an RV LOL. Shaneus, you still around? Isn't that your neck of the woods?
  18. Well, at least you got to go and learned something. The whole lake is like that for me. All pretty much new except 1215 area when they're shallow. Next lesson for me is at the end of this month
  19. How was the fishing you lucky dogs? You may have seen me circling the lake like an Eagle looking for a camp.
  20. I stayed there last month. Boat lanes are very well marked. I only bass fished there one late afternoon. Didn't get a bite.
  21. Hello Ranger. I just really started fishing The Bend again this year but considering where you're coming from Mr. Catt said it right above. Good luck to ya.
  22. I'm sure they're there. I'll worry about them after I catch a 10 lol
  23. Congrats on the camp! That's great. I'm still looking for one.
  24. It's a done deal.
