Yes the mystery has been solved. Mach 2 rod by itself is im6. Combo is im8 Guides are different. I prefer the im6 version of that rod

For the price its good, if you have more money get something better but as a first combo it will work

Its basically a weedles neko no? Should work, probably needs a strong hookset. Also looks like you will lose the worm after 1 fish

Great product thay catches tons of bass, but not the size bass to satisfy my needs. I still keep em around but rarely throw them.

They look nice, have nice writing on them, some also have some parts painted in colors that would appeal to a 12 year old. Thats why they are so popular nowadays. Nothing wrong with shimanos, they are every bit as good if not better that any other brand. The problem is the color schemes shimano uses appeal mostly to the older croud.
