Watching your line?
I do as Airborne showed, with my finger under the line. Works great! Also, take his advice in moving your finger before you set the hook. I found out that 50lb Braid digging through your skin does NOT feel good!! Jason

My 11 week old daughter took me to Cabela's to celebrate our first fathers day together. She bought me some more soft plastics and tackle boxes, jig heads and weights. Somehow she knew exactly what i wanted. Jason

Big worms, how to rig?
I believe he means, and this is what i do, only with 7/0 hooks, is to put the hook into the head of the worm like you would normally, but thread more of the worm onto the hook before you poke the point out the side. Then turn it in like you usually would. This puts some of the worm up onto the line, instead of having the eye of the hook right towards the top of the worm. If that made anymore sense Jason

ML rod?
I use my ML/F spinning rod for dropshot, shakey head, pretty much all types of finess fishing. I also throw rapala originals with it, and sometimes top water poppers, just cause it's fun 8-). Jason

yo zuri hybrid
Ultra Soft is SUPER abrasion resistant, perfect amount of stretch, not too little, not too much. Line diameter seems close to other company's mono of the same lb. test rating. I've got hung up with 12lb line on a submerged log, and i bent the hook trying to break the line. Super strong! Jason

Setting the hook
you can put your hand in the mouth of small catfish. they may close down on it but it shouldn't hurt too bad. i wouldn't lip a big cat. Most grab cats by the gills i believe. Jason

New Finesse Setup
