  1. I do as Airborne showed, with my finger under the line. Works great! Also, take his advice in moving your finger before you set the hook. I found out that 50lb Braid digging through your skin does NOT feel good!! Jason

I believe he means, and this is what i do, only with 7/0 hooks, is to put the hook into the head of the worm like you would normally, but thread more of the worm onto the hook before you poke the point out the side. Then turn it in like you usually would. This puts some of the worm up onto the line, instead of having the eye of the hook right towards the top of the worm. If that made anymore sense Jason

  20. I would try moving off shore to deep structure, humps, ledges, etc. and throw some jigs or deep diving cranks. Jason
  21. I use my ML/F spinning rod for dropshot, shakey head, pretty much all types of finess fishing. I also throw rapala originals with it, and sometimes top water poppers, just cause it's fun 8-). Jason
  22. it's sooooooooo hard to guess weights from pictures, but if i HAD to, i'd say around 6. Jason
  23. Ultra Soft is SUPER abrasion resistant, perfect amount of stretch, not too little, not too much. Line diameter seems close to other company's mono of the same lb. test rating. I've got hung up with 12lb line on a submerged log, and i bent the hook trying to break the line. Super strong! Jason
  24. you can put your hand in the mouth of small catfish. they may close down on it but it shouldn't hurt too bad. i wouldn't lip a big cat. Most grab cats by the gills i believe. Jason
