i was thinking of getting some of Doug Hannon's snakes. anyone ever used these? are they worth the money? and is there anyway of ordering some snakes without getting all the other stuff with it? i want to make sure these things are really good before i spend $40. thanks a lot

  3. i don't see the point in buying a lure that costs $15 when you know you'll lose it sometime or another. i'd think it would make you scared to through your baits in spots were you could get hung-up. i'd stick with shad-raps and normans 8-)

  12. finally got out and go fishing again. the fishing wasn't great but i got the skunk off for 2007 perch were hitting pretty good for a little while when we first got there, but it slowed down quick. sounds like almost everyone else didn't catch many at all. after they stoped hitting, i switched to a slip bobber and wrom for trout. put it down about 10' and i was in fish. got 5 to the ice and crackered one in the hole so we ended up keeping 8 perch and 3 trout. perch were all about 9" (FAT!) and the trout were 12",13",and 14" (the ones i released were over 12" also 8-)).
