  12. What a awesome gesture its people like you that make this country as well as this site all worth while.
  13. There is alot of possibiblities available with a job like that. I dont know what the turn over for employees is with GM but theres every chance after a year or so working there that you could move up in pay as well a position.
  14. I try to come close to the color of the forage that is in the lake or river system your fishing. I look for crawfish and try to find the colors that closely match them. I do the same with a swim jig. If I know that the bass are feeding on bluegill than I use a swim jig that has the colors of a bluegill in it.
  15. I use nothing but split rings except on my spook type baits and I tie the line directly to them with a Rapala knot.
  16. WELCOME ABOARD !!!!!!!!!!!
  17. WELCOME ABOARD !!!!!
  18. I read a article on this very subject awhile back and the way it was explained was the diffrence between the line and the hooks is the diffrence between a glass window and a mirror. The red line is somewhat transparent where as the hooks are reflective. So that is why the line will dissapear and the red hooks are an attractant. So the article said.
  19. I see this fishing glue advertised on the site and was curious if any of you guys or gals use it and how good does it work? If you do use it have you ever used it to glue your plastics to your hooks? I use super glue for that but I have had a few accidents with the super glue (getting it on my fingers and such) and would like to find some other glue that works as well.
  20. I often use double tails just like I use curly tail grubs I thread them on a 1/8 or 1/4 oz jig head and swim them.
  21. What size of hook were you using? Could be that maybe your hook is not getting through the senko well enough to penetrate the fishes mouth.
  22. THANK YOU GLEN FOR ALL THAT YOU DO !!!!!!!!
  23. I dont use the spro brand but my favorite is the Snag Proof tournament frog in the mossback color its green on the back and got a dingy white belly.
  24. I have not heard of anyone ever having to high of hook up percentage with frogs or toads and I fall into that catagory as well. I do use braid and I dont set the hook until I feel the fish tug my line and I will say it took alot of misses for me to get used to waiting on that tug.
