Shimano reels..best bang for the bucks!
I have both the old and new Stradic and I have also fished a Symetre for a weekend. After fishing all three, I would wait and get the new Stradic. It balances better and it is as smooth, if not smoother, than my Sustain. It almost feels as good as the old Stellas. The best part of this reel is how well it casts. I can't explain why but my guess is that it has something to do with the spool design.

How many rods do you bring when bank fishing?
Depending on how long I am walking, I might bring up to four but three usually works the best. I take one casting rod/reel for worms, one casting for jerkbaits or cranks, and one spinning setup for lightweight stuff.

Anyone have any of these baits?
Very cool. I especially like the craw bait.

Lunkerville Needs Home Videos
Hey Mike, Just wanted to say I love the show and I think it's a great idea to let people send you their video. Should be awesome stuff.

Baby bass?
I don't think of them look like a baby bass. I have tried some of these and have had zero luck. Not one single fish or bite. I would take a look at the stuff from Reaction Strike. They have some great patterns and some well made baits.

Which Lucky Craft Topwater?
Another vote for the Sammy. My personal favorite is the Aurora Black 100.

LUCKY CRAFT
They are for the most part worth the money. They are the only lure that I have used that comes perfect out of the package. Their Pointers are probably the best of the bunch but I also like the Sammy and the Flat Mini's. I have used all sorts of cranks and for some reason I use the LC more but I lose more of the other brands at least 3 to 1. For instance I love to fish a Silver Rapala DT-4, I lost 5 of these last year on snags as opposed to my favorite LC Flat Mini MR in Chartreuse Shad I have had for 3 years and it gets fished almost every time I'm out. My only guess is that this bait runs so different that it is actually better at avoiding or bouncing off structure.

Favorite Lipless Crank?
Xcalibur XR 50 has worked the best for me. They work great and at about $7, it's alot cheaper than LC's LVR.

EVER GO A LITTLE OVERBOARD BUYING LURES???
A small order like this one ? There's nothing like ~$200 of Megabass Lures. That's quite a haul. What do you think of the Anthrax?

For those living in apartments....
I had to deal with the same situation years ago when my wife and I were in college. I tried to talk to the guy but he thought it was something racial and I all I really wanted to do was sleep. Luckly, we had an older neighbor who had an apartment full of expensive nicknacks. The bass was so loud it knocked one of a shelf. She complained to the manager and she ended up having him kicked out. She also go to keep his security deposit to cover the damage to her broked trinket.

Lizard question
You can't beat a black and blue Zoom Lizard. Out of the soft plastic I use, they always produce the most vicious strikes.

Skeet Reese Edition Abu REVO!!!
What's so special about this reel other than the fact Skeet's got his name on it?

I think I prefer PowerPro over Sufix Braid
I used both and prefer PowerPro. I did like the Sufix braid though. PowerPro seems to last longer and also seems to have a thinner diameter. Both fade about the same but the Sufix seemed get sort of fuzzy after awhile and the knot strength was not as good as I would like it. But again, I did like Sufix but not as well as the PowerPro.

Favorite flippin stick between $180-$250
Dude, I might look at that, I'm leaning towards an 8ft flippin stick, so this would be great! How sensitive / light is it? The riggin stick I purchased is very sensitive but it's on the heavy side. The flippin stick is also heavy but not much heavier than most other rods. It also comes with a weight balancing system. Another plus is that there is a reabate for $50 if you buy any Fenwick or All Star rod and a Revo.

Please help me manage my lures - which tackle box to buy?
You might take a look at Falcons's boxes. They have some great innovations when it comes to holding specific lures in a custom a made box.

Favorite flippin stick between $180-$250
This is just a suggestion not a recommendation but you might take a look at a Fenwick EliteTeck Flippin Stick. I almost brought one home last weekend but I had my wife's small car. I could not fit this 7'11'' monster rod in her matchbox so I came home with the 7'3'' riggin stick. But if I was in my vehichle that big rod would have come home. I really liked it but I am also very happy with rod I purchased.

Fenwick Elite Tech Rods
I wouldn't worry. It was just a first impression and I have only looked at this rod in store. When you get it, fish it for awhile and let us know what you think. It's always great to hear info on technique specific rods because everybody fishes those specialized techniques differently.

FAT IKA COLOR & PRESENTATION
Love the Fat Ika. Oddly nobody I know fishes it, except for those on this forum. It has become a great go to bait for me. As far as color goes, I like black with blue flake. It seems to land more fish than anything else.

Bait Monkey BPS Spring Fishing Classic
A buddy of mine went last weekend and said it was a waste of time. So this year I decided to stay home. BPS is about two hours away and it makes no sense to spend the gas money when I can go to my local tackle shop and get everything BPS has and more.

Best and worst TV Shows...
Favorites In Fisherman Bill Dance Hunt Fish Cook Fishing the Flats Worst One More Cast Hank Parker Roland Martin One I have not made my mind up on yet is Ikes City Limits. I like the concept but just something about the guy (on the show) bothers me. With some time this show could be a winner. There is one other that I can not remember what it is called but it's fun to watch. There are two good looking women that go on these outdoor adventures (hunting, fishing, ect.) and they get to experience most of this stuff for the first time. It's pretty funny.

Welcome KVD Line & Lure Conditioner!
Thanks for the great product.

What got you hooked?
My dad use to take me fishing almost every weekend when I was a kid. He worked the night shift for awhile and as soon as we got home he would pick us up and head to the lake with no sleep. I guess he loved to fish. He was not the best bass fisherman but he was always entertaining to watch. He was sort of like a Bill Dance accident waiting to happen. I sure do miss him. I would like to think he is still fishing somewhere.

vent!
It has gotten out of hand. Some day I am just going to call the survey number just so I can complain about how long the receipt is. Also, I heard from a retailer that ink on some receipt paper is designed to fade over time so people won't be able to bring an item back after they have had it for awhile. For example, Best Buy, Circuit City, Wal-Mart. Just plain crazy.

Fenwick Elite Tech Rods
I didn't think about it but you got a good point. The handle is kind of short on the Riggin Stick I have. You would think that a rod made for Carolina Rigs and such would have a longer handle. There was one other rod I almost brought home, but could not get in my wife's little car, and it was the 7'11'' Flippin Stick. This rod was a beast and it just screamed to be used in heavy cover. I would also like to hear opinions on this rod as well.
