Yeah, I had a similar experience with them! The quality is decent for the price. So, if one can wait it might be worth at a 40% discount. I got mine at a 50% off sale!

Which Steez is for me?
Depends on the lure weights I would say. I have all three and for me they have very different areas where they shine. For me: * CT SV TW: Lures from 1/8 - 3/8oz * Steez SV TW: Lures from 3/8-1/2 oz * Steez A: 1/2 - 1.5oz Of course the reels have a bit more wiggle room. If I had to pick one for an all around reel I would go with the Steez SV TW. Good line capacity, great all around spool that allows to throw light lures, skip lures really well and also can go up to heavier lures (1.5oz). And if you dont fish in the salt/brakish water this reel should do it.

How would you pair this up?
Hi all, I am a bit one of these first world dilemmas. I hav a bunch of Daiwa reels and spools and I am playing around with some ideas on how to best match them up for the techniques that I am planning to use them for. Would love to get your thoughts: Reels: * 2019 Morethan (8.6) * Steez SV TW (7.1) * Steez A TW (8.1) * Zillion SV TW (7.3) * extra spool from Daiwa SV103 Techniques that I am planning to use: * Heavy Jig and Paddle tail swimbait ** currently planning: Morethan and the Steez A spool with 16# fluro on Daiwa Steez SVF-XBD Frog Rod * 3/8 - 1/2 oz Jig and Worms ** Currently planning: Steez SV TW with Steez SV TW spool, 12# fluro on ZBONE 7'6 MH * Small cranks and poppers ** Currently planning: Zillion with spool from SV103 with 8# Mono on Megabass Swingfire * Medium Jigs and Paddle tails (that is mainly used for skipping docks) ** Currently planning: Steez A with Zillion spool and 30 # braid with 15# Shooter Defier Armilo leader and Megabass Spinnerbait special This would currently leave the Morethan spool as a back up. What do you guys think? Thanks for the feedback! Cheers, Seb.

Well, if I was ebay I would choose to do the ebay bucks (only) approach as well. With ebay bucks they require you A) to buy stuff from ebay again and B ) there is a chance that you actually might forget to use them in time. Of course one can argue that they are loosing business because people buy somewhere else because they do not like the ebay bucks frame work.

Suffix advance
I have been using the 8 pound for poppers and the 12 for lipless cranks. Decent line. So far: little memory and it holds up fairly well. Would recommend it.

Lol, never would I have thought that I would say this, but: "I got one". Kinda curious what a 40USD reel can deliver and it should be good enough for my "always in the car-combo".

Best Reel for NRX 853c JWR
Congrats! The Metanium is a solid reel. I hope for you that it stays that smooth. Mine got grindy after 3 months of medium use (that's when I sold it)...

Do any of you use baitcasters for T.R.D neds?
I try to use casting gear whenever I can. In your case I would either go with my NRX852c and the Steez CT SV TW, 7 pound fluro. This combo is amazing. Super versatile (I can basically throw anything from 1/16 to 3/8 oz. If I need to get super low I use my BFS set up around a Major Craft BFS rod (rated 1/32 to 1/8oz) and a Shimano Aldebaran BFS with 4 pound test. Usually I use the later combo only for trout.

Which braid for heavy jig set up?
That could always be the case, but it kind of matches my other observations.

Which braid for heavy jig set up?
Well, my line counter would disagree...

Which braid for heavy jig set up?
I just spooled the reel with 30# suffix to almost to the top. 186feet. Curious to hear how you are getting so much more line on yours.

Which braid for heavy jig set up?
I am not sure if we have the same reel. I have the Morethan PE TW. When fully spooled with 16# and I bomb cast a 1oz jig, I can easily unspool the reel (which is roughly 170-180 feet). I probably will try Suffic 832 in 30pound test with the FG knot and a 5 foot leader.

Which braid for heavy jig set up?
Hi all, I am playing around with a different braid ideas for my heavy Jig combo, where I have been running pure 16# Sunline Sniper so far. In order to get a bit more line capacity on the reel (new Morethan) I am looking into different braid options. I am still planning to run a 16/18 # fluro leader. Looking for a braid that casts very well (the Morethan is a casting machine and I can easily unspool it when spooled with 16# FC), is sensitive and does not bleed that bad. Considerations so far: * Power Pro Super8Slick V2 Braided Line Onyx * Daiwa J-Braid Grand 8X Braided Line Gray Light * Suffix 832 What are your thoughts? Thanks, Seb.

What is the mono with the least amount of stretch?
Thanks all! Will try the Defier Armilo and the Sufic advance

What is the mono with the least amount of stretch?
Hi all, I am looking for a mono line with the least amount of stretch (that preferably still maintains some manageability on a BC reel). Looking for it in 14-15 pound test to use it for skipping jigs but also for mid-heary top water lures (like 1 oz spooks). Thanks all.

Best Reel for NRX 853c JWR

Dedicated Jig Rod
I had a Helum 3 Heavy , 7 foot. Very light and sensitive rod! I can recommend it. Not as sensitive as a NRX, but also a bit cheaper.
