Okay take this with a grain of salt since i have never fished a tournament but my approach would be this. Since you only have one day to fish i would take the Gerald Swindle approach to practice and cover as much water as humanly possible. Depending on the time of year and location of the lake you can probably eliminate some presentations, which can also eliminate parts of the water column. Study each lake as much as you can online before going, but at the same time don't stick to any preconceived notions of what they might be on. This is one of the most important things to remember, you are always going to need to be flexible in your game plan, sticking to something that isn't working can hurt a lot more than it can help at times.

personally didnt love the power bomb, found the wire so soft it was hard to tune.

i've had a lot of fish on a bbz rat but i have also had a fair number on the bullgill. personally i would go with the bull shad because it's a great bait and doesnt have the problems a gill profile does

some of the best i wont say an s-waver 200 or a shine glide are the same as say a 250 but i will say that they work

i was planning on that but i was also looking to expand into some other stuff since im really starting to like throwing them

okay guys I've been on a great spinner bait bite this year but with throwing them so much I have been losing a lot, so I need to restock, does anyone have any recommendations as far as what baits to buy? I have been looking at the revenge double willows as well as booyah vibra wire and some war eagles as well. what do you guys throw in that 1/2oz and up range of spinner baits? feel free to include colours as well Side Note: do you prefer to throw spinner baits with or without a trailer?
