Duckett Ghost
Pretty much. They do have regular guides so braid to flouro wouldn't be the issue it is with the micro magics. The rods are just as comfortable to fish with. I do wish the tip was a little more forgiving for casting accuracy. It's not a broom stick but it is pretty stiff.

Duckett Ghost
Forgot about the terex it's good also. I use braid on it for my frog rod. I haven't fished frogs much this year so I forgot about it. It replaced my diawa lt frog rod it's much lighter to me

Best Braid Line
Palomar gets my vote also. Quick, strong

Duckett Ghost
I've got 4 micros and 2 ghosts and they are good rods. I'm surprised that people don't seem to comment on them much here. In my opinion they are better rods than the veritas at least the first version. I sold all the veritas rods I had and haven't tried the new ones. The warranty on the micros is pretty good. I broke one of the cranking rods and basically just paid shipping for a new one.

Reel Selection
I also own both lews and diawa reels along with multiple shimano versions but my vote would go for the lews in the lower price reels, shimano for reels above $150 ,but diawa is growing on me. I've bought a tatula and Tierra,2 liberto pixys and traded for a tatula R and regular tatula in the last few months. The Lews I own are just workhorses and give me no problems with very little maintenance.

New Baitcasting Rod
I own a few of the tatula rods and like them alot but for an all purpose rod in that price range my vote goes to the phenix m1 series in the 7` mh range. I use one for an all around multi purpose rod. It's the one stick that's always in the boat

Righty Using Lefty.
I write right handed but couldn't cast a rod with my right arm to save my life. It's just awkward to me. I cast left reel right, never switch hands. I also throw left handed so I guess I'm just odd that way. I believe I'm a natural southpaw but was taught to write right handed because the world's a right hand dominant place. Pay attention to most of your power tools locking switches if operated with your left hand you are more likely to disengage them. When I was in grade school the teachers would take your pencil out of your left hand and make you write right handed. I remember them taking my fork out of my left hand and making me eat right handed

Bait Monkey Bit Me
I bought one of the supercasters when they first came out. Think I paid around $170 for it and never had any problems with it,caught plenty of fish and a buddy of mine still uses it. I bought it more from a curiosity stand point than anything else. It worked fine didn't see any added casting distance but it didn't give me any problems. I own or have owned reels from just about every manufacturer so there no loyalties here. Fish what you like and have fun it's all just fishing whatever you use.

Booyah Quality
I'm a war eagle fan myself although the wire they use does break often but not as often as booyah they are the worst I've found when it comes to this. They do catch fish though so there's the trade off

Circuit Breaker Or In Line Fuse?
I like the breakers for ease of use but fuses have their place also. Fuses protect devices from overloads which causes stuff to burn up. Breakers are primarily short circuit protection.

Why You Should Check Your Local Sporting Goods Store Often!
I have bought quite a few $50 citicas and $75 curados at gander over the years. I stop in just to look for deals like this even when I'm not in the market for anything.

Anybody Use The Bass Mafia Coffin For Terminal Tackle?
The bass mafia boxes are great. I use 3 of them one for terminal tackle, one for most used baits( like a do all box) and one of the deep ones for bigger stuff. I can grab these three boxes when in a hurry or fishing with someone else and cover most situations that occur. They are pricey but bulletproof. I will say this though. The first one I bought has a tighter fit for the dividers than the next 2 I ordered. Don't know if they changed specs or suppliers or what but they are still great boxes

Getting A Bullet Weight Snug Against A Plastic Bait
I never throw a tex rig that's not pegged anymore. I use bobber stops as well.

Ethanol Article Posted To Br
I will go out of my way to buy ethanol free gas. I've read to many articles and horror stories about the adverse effects of ethanol. No one I know puts ethanol gas in their boats on purpose. I won't even run it in my lawnmowers, weedeater, chainsaw or anything that the gas is more likely to sit for awhile. I have friends who refuse to use it in their vehicles but I run Atleast a tank of gas out every 4 days or so in my truck so I'm not worried about that.

G Loomis E6X Flip/punch
Phenix m1 or duckett micro magic are my favorite in that price range. I also have the savy series dobyns but prefer the phenix. I have messed around with the e6x rods and they feel pretty good just not as balanced with the reel I use as the phenix.

Starting Spinners And Cranks
For crankbaits I don't think you can beat a bandit in the 100 and 200 series. Then add in a #5 shad rap and I think your set for basic cranking. Spinnerbaits are not my favorite bait to fish but when I have to its mainly a wareagle. #5 shadraps are a rapala bait.

Ned Rig Believer
I've seen the jigheads and plastics lately and thought about trying it out but figured it was more of a Clearwater presentation. How well does it work as a finesse rig in stained water?

The Most Expensive Lure You Lost
Back to back duo spybaits. There were barge cables in the area that I didn't notice and they messed up the 6lb line I was using pretty quick.I had bought 4 of the spybaits but after the second disappeared into the sunset I decided that the other 2 looked really good sitting in the tackle box and I haven't thrown one since.

Thick Grass Bottom Ponds
I use a trig weightless finesse worm or trig a swimming super fluke Jr with or without weight. I use a heavier hook when I fish it weightless to act as a keel to help the bait swim upright. I fish a pond like you described sometimes and the small swimming fluke is very productive.

Best Box For Terminal Tackle?
Try the bass mafia bait boxes can't remember if it's called a coffin or casket but it's the red one. They are expensive but bullet proof tough boxes the have a tight fitting top

Rod Power Rating
The variances from manufacturers is what makes it so hard for me to order rods online. I wish there was an accepted standard as well.

Mono Recommendation For A Medium Power Rod?
P-line gets my vote followed by Stren super knot or original. Both are extremely better than any trilene product that I've ever tried. I'm also a fan of seagaur but it's not as readily accessible to me as the others.

Zodias. Or Tatula
Which rod would you choose mainly for bottom contact (jigs, trigs). 7' mh will be using a tatula type R. Haven't read much about the zodias just looking for feedback on them. I have 1 tatula and it's pretty good but the zodias look sweet.

Your "go To" Rig For Soft Plastics?
Texas rig zoom big critter craw and zoom flukes. The critter craw in watermelon red accounts for the majority of my fish when I'm in river backwater and you can't beat a fluke for skipping under limbs on the bank. But given the choice I would rather have a crankbait bite going on

Which Walk-The-Dog Lure Is Easiest To Walk
Paycheck the one and repoman. That being said spooks work great also. I just get bit more on (the one).
