  1. Impressive, that Golden Retriever outfishes some people I know.
  2. I tend to bring a bookbag with 2 Plano boxes of artificial lures, terminal tackle,a digital scale, tape measure, water bottles, meal replacement bars, and 2-3 rods at most.
  3. All the places mentioned above are good places to fish for Peacock Bass.Another good place is the canal next to Red Road in Hialeah and the canals/lakes in the Kendall area.
  4. I think fishing/hunting is mostly a tradition that is passed from generation to generation.
  5. Nice Bluegills and Redear Shellcrackers!

I have gone to Mexico for vacation more than once and I recommend it to anyone who is thinking about it.It has its bad areas which are best to stay away from, but the good areas far outweigh them. Its definitely a place worth visiting!
  7. Nice one!
  8. The first 30 minutes after a strong rain provides good fishing,so it's a good idea to wait out the rain.
  9. Skin them first.Use a sharp fillet knife to cut the skin and use pliers to take the skin off.Once the skin is removed you fillet the meat off, clean it,and cook it any way you want.
  10. Congratulations on catching a +6 pound bass!
  11. Congratulations on catching some big bass!
  12. By far one of the best reports I have read since I joined the forum!
  13. Solid catch!
  14. A couple days ago I caught a bass that had somebody else's red EWG 4/0 in good condition sticking from its cheek.I took this hook off and released the bass.
  15. The size of the lure doesn't matter, what matters is that the lure is presented at the right time with the right technique. The current Texas state record Bass was caught by a Crappie fisherman and this Bass was +18 pounds.Other records where caught with relatively small lures as well.
  16. Always fun to catch nice ones like those on frogs!
  17. It was too close to say the least!Let's hope the guy in the video learned to not kayak fish that place and instead takes a boat there .
  18. If you want it bad enough it can be done.I have done many sub 5 minute mile runs while I was also doing powerlifting and other sports. You never know how far you can get unless you work hard for your goals!
  19. Congratulations on breaking your PB in the 1 mile run!You could focus on getting it under 5 minutes if you want.
  20. Reading articles about Bass fishing is very helpful ,but nothing replaces time spent on the water!
  21. The exotics don't seem to effect much the natives, at least down here. Most of the spots I fish are filled with Bass,Bluegill,Bowfin,Gar, and other native fish.We are very fortunate to live down here in a thriving system with so many different species(both native and exotic) to target.
  22. I enjoy fishing hollowed body frogs in thick lily pads!
  23. This is a very kind gesture on your part and I am certain he will appreciate it.
  24. Summertime is my favorite time to go nightfishing.
