Bulk Tungsten Sinkers
Hello everyone, I'm looking for a bulk supplier for tungsten sinkers, worm, flipping, drop shot, etc etc. Either domestic or offshore. Any advise/recommendations? Cheers, P

Electric outboards, anyone gonna get one?
No! Just stupid at the moment. Talk about range anxiety on the water? No way. With that being said, maybe a cottager on a motorless lake? I guess there may be applications but I'll stick with my 250hp V8.

Reel/Line combo for Jig/Worm rod
Hey thanks again everyone! Love the passion on this site :). I have a few partial spools of green 30#PP so I'll try that 1st (w/o a leader) and see how it goes. For additional finesse I'll use spinning. Not sure i'd call the met a BFS reel, they've added the shallow spool to help it with lighter tackle but it will handle 1oz just as well (I have another). I'm not concerned about the limitation on the line because i've always used braid for this application as I like the way it flows. And for a casting reel, 70yds is more than enough. Cheers! P

Reel/Line combo for Jig/Worm rod
Run of the mill (1/4oz and up, typically 1/4 oz jig plus the plastic) for this setup (light pitching, jigs, worms, senkos, etc) , I use spinning for something smaller. I believe the 70yds/10lb is for mono so I should me able to spool up the same in 30# PP braid. I picked this reel because it works within a fairly wide range.

Reel/Line combo for Jig/Worm rod
Mounting on a Dobyn's extreme 743C. I have a 22 Metanium Shallow Edition selected and I'm wondering about line. What I would like to use is a 15# hi vis braid that I can also spool onto my wacky rig setup (spinning) as well. Thoughts? Recommendations? TIA, P

Most successful pattern this summer?
Now that summer is over, what was you single most successful pattern.. Not interested in all the patterns that worked well, just what was your biggest producer?? Mine was the 3.8" Kaitech FAT Swing Impact in smallmouth magic on a Trokar Magnum Weighted Swimbait Hook fished exclusively on a DC 734C/Met HG/Sniper FC 14#.

What's wrong with my 2014 Etec 115 horse?
Did you program the outboard for XD100? If its programmed for XD50 this may be your issue. With the etecs, you should always have it programmed for the oil you're using and stick with it. Good luck .

Deep Crankbaits - Lake Erie Summer Smallies
I usually dropshot over sunken structure but I'm also looking to throw some deep divers if I can find suspended smallies chasing baitfish on the north shore of Erie. Recommendations? Size/Color/Model...

Line for Deep Cranks
I run the Crankenstein/Calcutta D 200 combo for deep cranks and pike. Its currently spooled with 30# PP but I think I would benefit from a line with a bit of stretch. Thoughts?

Live well conversion to Trolling motor Battery Box
It should work as long as you ensure that all the water ingress points have been dealt with. It would also pay to have a way to drain it in the event you swamp the boat, rain, etc. One thing I can think of, TM batter compartments are typically along the centerline to keep the boat level. As you mentioned 2 batteries (24 volt?) you may want to test it. Most important advise I have is as follows: Use a good quality battery tray to prevent damage from bouncing around (bow moves more than the stern) Hard wire it to the TM rather than use a plug. Its more reliable Use a properly sized disconnect switch, circuit breaker, and cables. PM me if you need help.

Line diameter and casting distance with baitcasters
I find that casting distance has a lot more to do with what you're casting. A small and somewhat heavy rattle trap will cast a mile, a big spinner-bait, not so much. With that being said, I run 50# braid on my frog rod and it cast a mile.. I use 12lb mono on my CB rod and it can cast a mile.. I use 15# floro on another and it can cast a mile as well. Setting your spool tension, brake, and as previously noted, the lure will have more effect on distance that the line type/weight. Keeping your equipment properly serviced wont hurt either.

Spinnerbait/chatterbait setup line?
Just one vote for Braid. The other 3 are pretty much tied. I put Seaguar Rippin on a CB rod last week and I really like it. I also like the shooter defier A... Its just a bit tough to find in my area.

Spinnerbait/chatterbait setup line?
Ordering a Zillion SV TW (5.5:1) from Digitaka and while I'm at it can add some JDM line to my order. It will be mounted on a St Croix Rage 6'9" MH/Fast. Its a pretty stout stick so I'm thinking maybe something with a little stretch?!?! Thoughts?

Decent reel for spinnnerbait/chatterbait rod
My SB / CB rod currently has a Chronarch Ci4 HG mounted on it and its wayyyy to fast. Looking for a good value reel to perform the task. Prob. mid 5's to low 6's in gear ratio etc. Can be JDM. Looking at the Zillion SV TW and the Stile. Both are 22.8" per revolution vs 30" for the Chronarch. Ideas???

Did i buy the wrong rod?
NRX rods are extremely strong. I think it would be perfect with the right reel and line.
