Plastic Perch Patterns
I'm wondering what you guys throw in soft plastics to represent yellow perch? I have alot of hard baits in perch patterns and have done very well. My last outting I slayed the Smallies on a perch pattern popper. A few of fish regurgitated perch. I'm looking for patterns in small swimbaits, soft stick baits, tubes, soft jerk baits and dropshot baits.

Rods/reels for kayaking- there can be only 3!
I fish in a 8' pontoon boat and find all I can handle is 4 rods. I will rotate rods/reels due to the lake, time of the year and present weather conditions. I feel closely related to yakkers. 1. NRX 852S w/ Stradic Ci4+ and #10 yellow PP w/ #8 Sunline Sniper: Tubes, light T-rigs, soft stick baits, grubs 2. GLX 822 DSR(2016) w/ Stradic 2500FJ and #10 yellow PP w/ #8 Sunline Sniper: dropshots, finesse 3. Dobyns Champion 702SF w/ Shimano Symmetre 2500FL and #10 yellow PP w/ #8 Sunline Sniper: tubes, light T-rigs, small swimbaits; w/ Pfluegar President 6930 and #8 clear Yo-Zuri Hybrid: small jerkbaits, topwater, crankbaits 4. St. Croix Mojo Bass(SCIII) 68MXF w/ Chronarch 50E and #8 clear Yo-Zuri Hybrid: jerkbaits, topwaters 5. Fenwick Elite Tech Smallmouth S74M-F w/ Symmetre 2500FL and #10 green PP w/ #8 Seguar Invisx: Ned rigs 6. Shimano Clarus C70MB w/ Shimano Calcutta 50B and #8 clear Yo-Zuri Hybrid: medium crankbaits Plan on p/u a MH 7' - 7' 6" crankbait rod with a Diawa Tatula 100CT in the near future

I'm looking for Decoy Nail Bombs in different sizes but can't seem to find any source here in North America. Does anybody know where I can locate them?

Topwater bait color
My first choice is 'ghost' patterns followed by a orange and then a yellow belly bait.

Drop Shot Minnow Baits
Will do. I used the Z-man Finesse Shadz on a Ned rig with great success. I'm definitely very impressed with Z-man products and will be trying some new baits from them this year. Thanks.

G loomis rods.
The last two seasons I have used the E6X 822S DSR and actually prefer it over my Dobyns Champion 702SF for dropshotting. The Champion is a better "all around" rod.

GLX rods. Worth the $?
I p/u a NRX 852S from Cabelas.ca last fall for $500Cdn. and the new GLX 822DSR from American Legacy for $311US plus about $50Cdn. which included GST and duty.

Drop Shot Minnow Baits
The Clone Fries are a bait I have considered in the past but due to the price I've stayed away from them. Maybe I'll try that bluegill pattern. Looks fantastic. Thanks I do have some Power Bait minnows but haven't any success with them. I'll give them another shot this season. Thanks.

Drop Shot Minnow Baits
Hi folks. I'm looking to add some baitfish patterns to my dropshot arsenal. I'm fishing clear to slightly green/tea stained waters with Perch and Pumkinseed being the main forage. I did very well with the Jackall Crosstail Shad last season. Looking to add the Strike King Drop Shot Half Shell, Yum Warning Shot and Kill Shot this year. Do you guys have any recommendations?

Your next rod
My new GLX DSR822 will be here on Thursday. Thinking of the new Megabass Orochii XXX Oneten Special sometime this season but looking forward to seeing a picture of roadwarrior's jerkbait road.

Opinions on the G. Loomis E6X?
I used this rod the last couple of seasons and was also impressed. However, it'll be a back-up as I'm waiting on delivery for the new GLX 822DSR.
