OK final preparation for this big bass tournament I’m in. I recently bought two large glide baits, I’m wondering if my 7‘3“ rod will be OK with the new KVD 8.3:1 I bought with 20 pound test? Or should I use my 7’6” flipping stick with the glide bait and Use the 7’3” for my flipping stick for this tournament? Your advice is always appreciated thank you

I will add my two cents. Where I live there is a Cabela's 45 minutes away but it’s a quick 45 minutes so I don’t mine the drive. I like BPS but like Cabela’s better for going in person. When it come to ordering on line, I haven’t had a problem with either one. I do like ordering from TW and haven’t had problems with getting the package to late. To me as long as I get my fishing stuff it’s a great day. Have a blessed day

What do you think a 6 1/2 inch blade bait is too big for big Bass? I ordered two of them but they seem a little big. Anyway Appreciate your input thank you.

Looking to get my spare tire for my trailer in case I get a flat. (Still don’t know why tracker didn’t add a spare to it but it is what it is.) Anyway, what should I look out for in getting one? Assuming not all spare tires are equal. Any input or advice is as always appreciated thank you.

OK its getting down to the nitty-gritty. I’ve entered a big bass tournament in May. My question is what kind of baits should I use for this tournament? I have been doing research for this lake on what lures to use but I have never fished this lake before. So any advice would be good thank you.

I purchased a boat and within 4 1/2 months, I have takin it in five times to get it fixed. Would that classify as a lemon? Can you return your boat? Went fishing today, got the boat on plane but the engine was sounding rough so I turned it off. Restarted the engine with no problem but I couldn’t get it back on plane and the alarm went off. This is an engine that had 39 hours on it when I bought it back in December. It is a 2017 four stroke 75 hp mercury. Anyway, any thoughts on this? I appreciate your advice thank you. Needless to say it’s back in the shop

My boat trailer does not have a spare tire on it. I have a 2017 bass tracker pro 175 TWX boat. I’ll be making about a three hour trip and don’t feel comfortable without a spare. Trips not tell May but I feel like I should have a spare for this trip, I have been looking at mounts to fit onto my trailer I’ve seen some really good sturdy ones but not quite sure which one to get or what kind to get. So with all that being said what kind should I get?I have been looking on Amazon but I’m undecided your input would be appreciated as always thank you.

So there I was charging my boat for tomorrow’s fishing. Since I’ve been having trouble with my trolling motor I thought I would go and check and see if it was working, I got shock, then as I was going to check it again I leaned against my boat I got a real nice shock. anybody experienced this before? Should I use my frog rod for other top water lures too? The rod is 7-3 med heavy and I have Sufix 832 braid #50 on it or just use another rod? Thanks for the input.

So basically what I’m getting from all this great advice is braid backing with FC. Give or take a little bit. Thanks y’all for the advice

Ok now that I have my frog line settled now I need line for my jig rod. I’m assuming that I can use what I have on my frog line for my jig rod right? Sufix 832 #50?

I love it myself and have gotten a few of them. I had to do a tweak here and a tweak there to get it to where it’s casting fine. And of course I am a lews man but all in all I believe they are a great reel. I think you will like it.

Just keep it and get another one…I think it would fall under the “Monkey”

Oops I did it again. I bought me another Lews American Hero-tier 1 7’0 Med Hvy casting rod to replace the Okuma. I have to re-organize my rods to figure out which is going to be my new frog rod. I already know what’s gonna be my Jig rod. That’s gonna be the worst part about it, reorganizing my rods…Do I have a monkey problem??? ???

I have to say I could go a season but I like to fish year long if I can.

With the bass masters classic going on this weekend, who do you want to win? I myself would like to see Gerald Swindle win it.

Do you find that the LED color lights that they are putting on Bass boats today are really worth it? Idea has struck me that maybe in the future that it would be a good idea to put them on my tracker. What are your thoughts on the subject? Thanks for your input

So after fishing today, I come to the conclusion that I really do not like my Okuma TCS Jig rod. It’s 7-6 heavy action. I was going to trade my Falcon rod in for a updated Lews rod, but decide to keep it and trade the Okuma. Is this a good idea? Do I need a heavy rod for jigs? Anyway what do y’all think???

DVT, how often should I grease my reels? I know at least once a year when one cleans the reel, but what about the in between? And if someone else wants to reply, by all means add your two cents in I take all the advice I can get. Thanks again Jeff

I have a 25 yr old Falcon I’m going to trade in on a Lews rod. It’ll be my first time doing it.

I just changed to Suffix this year except for my Frog rod and jig rod and so far I’m glad I did.

I went with 832 #50, for the frog rod and thanks for the input
