A quick question regarding boat covers. Should I get a custom or just a regular boat cover? My boat is a 2017 tracker pro 175. Thank you for your input.

Tonight I bought a Lews American Hero tier 1 7’0-1 Med Hvy casting rod to go with the Lews KVD reel. Not sure how I’m going to rig it just yet, Any suggestions?

So this week I decided to enter Lews, Strike King Big Bass Tournament without even fishing the lake before but hope to fish it at least once before the tournament. I think I’m going to just fish and have fun with it not expecting to place. It’s just one day but what the heck.

I have 4-7:5:1 reels and 3-6:8:1 reels and soon to be a 6:2:1 reel. I plan to redo my rod set ups and want to pair them up with the right rod and reel set up. My smallest rod is 7ft and my longest is 7ft 6in heavy rod which is my jig rod and a 7ft 4in heavy frog rod. 4 7 footers medium heavy and 1 7ft 2in rod medium heavy, so with that information, what type of lures should I rig my rods with??? I hope this all makes sense and all input is appreciated and God bless.

OK, my Minn Kota works but the switch that makes it where it is controlled by the foot pedal runs all the time. I Cannot control the motor with my foot pedal. It runs continuously regardless where I put the switch unless it’s on off of course. Any ideas of what is causing this? And as always all input is appreciated.I just didn’t want to take it back to the dealer even if it’s under warranty.

Does a newer boat count as fish monkeys? Because my wife bought me a 2017 tracker for Christmas. Then the weekend that I got it before this past Christmas, I convinced her to buy me a new depth finder for the boat for my birthday which is in until May. So does that count as fish monkey?

OK I was watching a YouTube video about winter bass fishing with jigs. The guy was talking mostly about the football jig. I like fishing jigs but I’m not sure about the football jig. Is the football jig primary for winter fishing?And as always all input is welcome, thank you.

Growing up I would say Bill dance and Roland Martin. I watch these guys when I was a kid. When I started local tournaments back in 2000 It was Hank Parker. And then I would say Gerald Swindell. Those are the three I would watch most. I Was able to meet Gerald Swindell and Hank Parker within the last couple years, and Bill dance at the bass master classic expo and 2018 when it was at Lake Hartwell. But my wife would say I love watching fishing if I’m not fishing for Bass.

I wish I was a little bit more mechanically inclined to work on this motor. But it is under warranty so hopefully the damage won’t be too bad. It is what it is. The worst of it is that I was going fishing today.

I’ve checked the fuses I’ve had it charging for a couple hours now and it’s still not doing anything panels not even doing anything looks like I might have to take her in. It’s just very frustrating I will say the trolling motors working though but that’s it

Also I did check the other switches for the trim and I checked the fuses and all the fuses seem fine I’m just hoping it’s dead batteries. The one thing though I do not see is the light coming on the battery charger. Then again it might not have one but I do have it in a plug that’s hot and I’m hoping it’s charging. I came to this conclusion because my panel board wasn’t working either. Just hoping it’s not a major fix. And again all and put his welcome.

Or could be my batteries are completely dead. For some reason when I plug in my charger it keeps tripping the GFI outlet. I’m hoping that it’s just my battery‘s dead. I plugged in a non-GFI breaker controlled outlet so I hope this Solves the problem. If in fact this is the problem any thoughts on this?

Oh my Bass tracker that has a 75 hp Mercury four stroke 2017 with about 39 hours on it the trim is not working. It is kept outside it is cold outside. I went fishing ago five days ago and it did rain but it was fine no problems. Any ideas? Thanks for your input.

Just a simple question, where are used to clean the seats? I don’t want mildew and stuff to get all over it. Thanks for your input

I must say that so far I like my Garmin even though I only been out on the water 3 times since i got my boat, but I love what it does. Still learning about all that I can do with it but it’s been great.

My wife and I are planning to go down to Lake Marion two fish for three days for my birthday. This will be in the middle of May, my question is what should I be looking out for? I heard that there are a lot of stumps under the water, should I be concerned about this if it is true? I’ll be in my 2017 tractor pro team 175 TXW with a 75 hp Mercury motor.
