  1. Thanks, I have never tried one without a weedguard, will give it a shot.
  2. Blue, could a wire weedguard be added to that head. I would love to start pouring my own.
  3. Great video Glenn, good info.
  4. This is very sad to hear, prayers to the family.
  5. I tried cutting the keeper off and using the gel glue but I went back to using the keeper. I couldn't keep the plastic on with the glue. I sure plenty have used the glue but I just couldn't get it to work for me.
  6. My vote for Z Man also, great baits that last a long time.
  7. I mostly practice C & R but I have no problem in keeping some to eat. Saying that, I prefer crappie over bass any day.
  8. Bigturtle is right, it is a Cotton Cordell Jointed Spot. I have got one in my lipless box.
  9. Just got through spooling up a couple of reels with 16# test. Great line !!!!
  10. I use them and they sink, if you want a floating finesse worm, look at the Z-Man worms.
  11. I wear the old style life jacket. I always have my killed switch hooked up. I found a jacket that is comfortable to me and I don't have to worry if it will work or not, I guess old age has something to do with my decision. It is not the law here to wear one or have the kill switch hooked up, it's something I do so i can fish the next time.
  12. Go when you can, go early, stay late, catch fish.
  13. Always some type of crankbait, a spinnerbait or chatterbait, and a Ned Rig.
  14. I don't think I have ever bought an extended warranty on anything and never wish I had so I am ahead of the game, If it makes you feel better, get it, I wouldn't.
  15. Bite the bullet and go get another can, it is worth it.
  16. Congrats on the boat, should be fun fixing it up to your liking.
  17. I also prefer the narrow wobbling cranks, I use Shad Raps, Poe's RC 1 and 2 , and Bomber Thin A's.
  18. Been throwing Robo worm and Zoom finess worm.
  19. Like the OP, wind keeps me off. The wind today was 15-25 and no way I could have stayed on the lake, couldn't hardly walk outside.
  20. Your want lose a lot with the Limited 30. I got a Supreme XT and a Limited and can't feel a real difference.
  21. 7# Sunline Sniper works for me. Highly recommend it.
  22. Albright, easy to tie and does not slip.
  23. Don't replace it, it is no telling how old my backing is.
  24. I would go with large as you can jon boat. You can fix it up to how you want it a little at a time. I have seen Jon boats fixed pretty nice with decks, carpet.
