My best advise is clean it as soon as you get home. The longer you wait, the harder it is to get clean. I mostly just use a rag and water to get the ring that forms around it. Also charge your batteries as quick as possible. O yea, don't forget to put the drain plug back in, don't ask how I know.

The TRDs are more buoyant than the ZinkerZs because they have less salt. When I get a pack of TRDs I put them in a bowl and see how many float, most the time it varies. For the ones not floating to the top, I take them and start stretching, roll them in my hands and them run them under hot water. I do this until all of them float.

I don't worry about rating too much. My Lews Custom is rated 1/8-3/8 but I throw 1/16oz with ease. it is line rated for 6-12, I use 8lb. test.

Buy a transom saver and be done with it.

You something light and strong, heavy power such as the Lew's Custom rod. I bought it for a frog and Carolina rod and pitching. It really does all 3 well.

I use Loctite Gel to glue Z Man's TRD's to the jig.

So sorry to hear about your loss. I think the most I have ever cried in my entire life (65) is when my 12 yo Golden died. I don't think I will ever get over it.

It is kinda confusing. Their lightest is called Custom and another model, which is heavier, is call CustomLite.

I use mono on my topwater and my crankbait. It still has a place in bass fishing.

Lews Custom Lite has the Winn grip. I just got a Custom in Heavy for frogs, love it, very light.

No snap, no swivel, tie direct to everything.

That shouldn't be a problem. My welder said he can weld anything but the break of day or a broken heart.

Try pushing in each end and turning. Don't really know that's it but I have seen some that come apart that way.

Seafoam about 3 or 4 times a year. I use non ethanol gas.
