  1. I would use any rod between 6'6' and 7', med. light to med. The Ned rig is really not a feel technique. Saying that I would get the best rod I could buy so you could use it for different techniques.where feel is important.
  2. What most everyone said, I use 10# test Power Pro braid with Sunline Sniper fc using an Albright to join them.
  3. This is how I crank my 1997 90HP Johnson. Try it, it works. Great advise Way2slow.
  4. I think it was more the Hula Stix than the head but you was working it right. When you think you are working it slow, slow down some more. Any of the Ned type baits will work year round.
  5. Probably will hit our 50 acre city lake for at least a few hours.
  6. I use the alberto knot. They say they the FG knot is better but I can tie the alberto knot fast and it hold so why change.
  7. 6'6'' is the perfect length for me. All of mine except one pitching/frog rod is 6'6' spinning and casting. I was brought up using 5'6" so I guess that length is long to me.
  8. I love to catch big fish but I am a numbers guy.
  9. Any of the Z Man Ned Rig baits.

Some days are like that, you murder them one day and the next day you can't get a bite. My golf game is the same, one day I want to throw my clubs in the lake and one day I think I can play in the PGA, well not that good.
  12. Congrats, looks great !!!! Love the shop.
  13. I hate when I take some apart and then when I put it back together, it doesn't work. Glad you found your problem.
  14. I would say that is your problem. I am running a 1997 Johnson 90hp. The guy I bought it from used e10 gas but did use Stabil. There are 2 non ethanol gas stations close to me so I started using that gas in my motor. Since then, the boat starts better and runs better.

WOW what a find, you did good !!!!!
  16. If I fished water than was 80 or lower, I would never get to fish here in Mississippi in the summer !!!
  17. We have Krystal and have had White Castle. I vote Krystal since they are still around. When I was a teenager (several decades ago). I could eat a dozen Krystals. They were 10 cents then.
  18. I use Sun Line on every reel I have. They have the smallest diameter for pound test than any line I have found.
  19. This what I would do. Can't beat a Ned Rig for pressured water.
  20. Like most, Zoom in Junebug.
  21. Got a deal on that Rapala, bet it catches you some fish.
  22. Sorry about you bad luck with your Jeeps. Hope your trip turns out great !!!
