Pic of Citica 100 vs. 200
I only have moderate sized hands so that is why I like the 100 better. I could see someone with big hands favoring the 200.

Pic of Citica 100 vs. 200
I think with the lightweight Loomis rod, the 100 is your better bet. I have both 100 and 200 paired up with Loomis rods and the balance and overall feel of the 100 is great.

Super line/braid on a baitcaster
Sufix and PowerPro are the way to go. Spiderwire ain't too bad either. Fireline was the only stuff I didn't like.

I got the 100DSV and 200DPV both paired to Loomis rods. The 100DSV is simply incredible.

For those who "sharpie" their braids
Good point, I guess if I find I'm not getting any hits, I can just use a leader.

For those who "sharpie" their braids
Does the smell of the sharpie go away when it dries? I'm assuming you guys have found that it doesn't have any negative impact on the fishing? Thanks.

Jigs...from start to fishin'
7' 1 pc Baitcaster Heavy Action/Fast 30 pound braid 6:1 Baitcaster, flipping bar if you want, I don't use one though. Depends, sometimes you can get a reaction strike if you drop it right in. In fact I missed one on Sunday when a bass crushed my jig immediately after it came off the log. I'd start out with a 1/4 ounce black/blue jig with a 4" black w/ blue fleck Berkley Chigger Craw trailer. This combo WILL catch fish.
