I just read something about Grade A cork grips and that got me thinking...What's the difference in the grades of cork used for grips and how does that translate to the angler? are better grades more sensitive? etc.

Cortland Bass Rods
the ones i saw today were all casting rods... as far as their weight - i have several avids and a couple legend tourneys and the weight for this cortland was comparable to the avids. i couldn't believe it.

Cortland Bass Rods
Does anyone own a Cortland Bass rod? I saw some today and a tackle store and they are unbelieveably light. I flipped over the price tag expecting to see around $200 and the things were $65! I didn't buy one yet - I wanted to see if any of you had any experience with them first.

Broke my Avid...replace it or upgrade it?
i've got both the avid and a legend tourney and i'd say go for the upgrade to the LT...the avid's are sweet but the LT's are even better
