  1. Grammar is the difference between helping your Uncle Jack off a horse and helping your uncle jack off a horse.
  2. See, Raider, I count on money I embezzled to pay my balance. This is much more responsible than paychecks.
  3. Maybe he's just smarter... Being independent he can work on something different than the guys at NWS...
  4. I'm going to see The Avett Brothers live in May in Knoxville, Tennessee. I hope it the best I've ever seen!!
  5. ..how do you deal with broken heart? This song pretty good; https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fBiuQlW9tR4 As well as: And many, many more sad songs..
  6. Look up a bunch of pro skaters... None of them have a marketing degrees, least the one I mentioned. Marketing is easily learned outside of the classrooms, it pointless getting a marketing degree..
  7. So if you don't get a college education you're not that good? If this kid ends up like the next Ryan Sheckler, Tony Hawks, Rob Dyrdek he will be set financially for life...
  8. If you have never seen Breaking Bad, read the wise quotes of Saul Goodman at the bottom of this link: http://www.amctv.com/shows/breaking-bad/cast/saul-goodman
  9. Oh, there nothing wrong with the lake itself. I've been living here for a long time, my parents' house is 2 miles at most to the nearest boat ramp. It just, this lake is wildly inconsistent in terms of quality of bass you can catch on a regular basis. I'm originally from Alabama, I spent two weeks down there fishing every single day. Every single day for two weeks I caught a limit of bass weighing around 10 pounds at least and up to 18 pounds at most. I cannot do that here on Cherokee. It a reservoir filled with rocks and fluctuating water on a regular basis. The TVA is constantly changing the water level if mother nature isn't doing it. Don't get me wrong, I've caught 5 pounders, my dad won a tournament with 15 pounds sack before, but I just can't do it consistently. The bass I do catch consistently are not even keepers, except spotted bass. (Spotted bass here do not grow like they do on the Coosa River in Alabama.) I just hate this lake, it got the best of me. My dad sold the boat and has not bought another one. Maybe if we had a better sonar we could locate off-shore structures better and could have had more consistent success. If you ever make it down here just shoot me a PM and I'll tell you the ins and outs of Morristown... I'm trying to meet my cousin in March at Guntersville, and if I do this will be the first bass fishing I've done in some time. I've been roaming the streams for trouts in the Smokies. Edit: I think one reason why this lake is so difficult, is because the TVA made this lake over Indian graves.... Ghost of Indians haunting it? Ha.
  10. Ah, Cozumel. The only place I've ever been where I got drunk for free in public. Be safe!

I'm sure you're just joking. Needing an AR for defense is just a marketing scheme to sell more. I want to know one legit defense story where someone needed an AR to defend their home........
  12. I read financial mumbo jumbo.

I saw this on twitter. I probably would have crap myself if I was hiking and saw these bears. Then I be looking around for their mamas....
  14. This is kind of funny: http://blogs.wsj.com/digits/2013/02/18/burger-kings-twitter-account-hacked/?mod=e2tw The part about Wendy's responding to the hack having an alibi is the punch line. Edit: I suppose in the hacker's defense he was doing what Burger King said, "Have it your way." He just wanted his way!
  15. People with extreme hypothermia can get hot and sweaty. You guys ever heard of the hypothermia song?
  16. I lol'd at the part about the food.
  17. Just to clarify: I don't work as an analyst for a bank evaluating companies. I do internal for one company, I simply do financial performance evaluation for internal use. My statements about public companies are just observations since I continue to intend on managing my own retirement, and gives me something to read. I saw a headline the other day about Apple developing a watch. lol. I didn't read into, but Google it. hahaha. P.S. that Apple TV thing is pretty cool. Even though there is already a cheaper version that been on the market for awhile, and since my Xbox went kaboom the other night, I may purchase one to stream Netflix to my TV.
  18. I live near Knoxville. Do not fish Cherokee Lake.
  19. Apple forgot to add a breathalyzer to this phone.
  20. As a Financial Analyst, find me a company of Apple's caliber with no longer-term debt. Exactly!! Steve Jobs knew what was going on and what path to take. I admire it and I'm drunk at the moment!!! This information shouldn't discredit the latter information.
  21. Your product decision suggest otherwise. I love the iPhone. I have no experience with the iPad other than an ex-girlfriend and a classmate having one. I prefer a laptop and a smartphone, I don't need a tablet of any kind.
  22. A company with no long-term debt. Smart people.
  23. Both. If Alabama played at night, I'll fish in the day. If they played at 3pm, then I'll fish from 6am to noon. I don't watch pro ball so Sunday would be a good day to fish for me and dad as well. Edit: by the way, I live near Knoxville. Welcome.
  24. I think it's really good. I've noticed a lot of high priced liquors in the store. I've always been reluctant to pull the trigger on a such bottles. It got me thinking one night, if we blind tested someone with a high dollar whisky and low dollar whisky will they consistently choose the high priced one? The hypothesis I had in mind is that if the person doesn't know the brand's reputation and its price they have no expectation. Where if they knew all of the reputation and price, their mind will trick them saying the drink was really good when in reality they couldn't tell difference from low end to high end. I asked my bestfriend, who is a psychology and biology major, he said they have done similar testing on wine. The study revealed something interesting, ordinary people could not tell the difference between cheap and expensive wine, while aficionados could. So, give Maker's a shot before they lower the proof rating, I think it a (or should I say was) fine bourbon. I can drink it neat and enjoy a slow pleasant buzz that helps me think and give me a good sleep without hangover bearing I don't drink too much.
