I jumped on the smartphone bandwagon
I hear ya on the battery life, but I'm pretty shock to hear you say that about the earpiece...I'm hearing impaired and I turned it on high and heard pretty good on it then when I turned the hearing aid amplifier on it was even better. It's better than my previous phone. Weird.

I jumped on the smartphone bandwagon
I think if I used the Google map APP it's free. I have to double check the other GPS featured apps. I got unlimited data, so I shouldn't get any surprised charges unless I download the apps that actually cost money.

I jumped on the smartphone bandwagon
I just use it to check my stock portfolio, business news, play Angry Bird, plan out a trip, and minor things while I'm sitting in class or between class, or eating, etc. Anyone recommend a good case cover? I'm looking at Otterbox and this other case that very rugged. I thought I used the real rugged one for when I go backpacking and hiking, then use a regular cover for regular commute so it'll slide in my pocket better.

I bought the HTC Incredible today. So far, so cool. I've been trying set it up to my liking and scrolling through some fishing apps. I need search this forum for that fishing apps thread. lol. It's a lot easier to use then I thought it would be as far as texting and emailing goes. I'm still trying figure out all of the features this thing has. Only thing I'm concern is the battery life, it seems very skeptical. lol. I probably won't used it non-stop.

"financial transparency"
I believe if the owners demand taxpayers' money, whichever jurisdiction they reside in, there should be a vote among taxpayers in which the team reside in. If they leave, then well the people have spoken. lol. It only seems fair. I'm walking a political line here, so I'm go help the old man work on the boat.

"financial transparency"
I remember a small factory (forgot the name) it was a closely held business with around 100 or so employees. The factory produces hardware for the auto industry. I believe it was a monthly basis or more, the owner would talk to the employees about the company's book. He believed if the employees knew the reality of the company, they would work to make company better or continue to work towards sustainability. It obviously worked for him. Many public companies employees knows what their top executives makes or rough estimate that usually not far off and hell they can view their company's financial statement, but it's a little more broad than the actual ledger. At least they know the revenue, profit, and few other stuff. Private held business? It's up to the owners both legally and in my opinion. If owners are willing disclose a few numbers, the players must agreed to sign a contract stating they will not publicly disclosed any numbers the owners share with them. I mean, some NFL owners and players salary are already reported publicly, what harm will it do to disclosed a couple numbers privately among players? If I'm not mistaken, Forbes has a list of revenues and operating income for each team and few owners salary are somewhere on there.. I don't know how correct those numbers are, but whatever. Maybe the NFL should copy the Wisconsin's playbook in regard to collective bargain. LOL. I could care less if there are no NFL season next year, but the whole situation is kind of funny.

Sunshine can kill you...dammit...
I save money on sun screen by wearing Columbia, Under Armor, or similar clothes with sun protection. Even the long sleeve version on a hot summer day. Just stay hydrated and you won't get hot. Hope you heal up well.

THE CREME FALLS TO THE BOTTOM
I think the players should have been suspended for the Sugar Bowl and continue serve out the sentence next year, but that just me. It was a dumb move by NCAA to allow them to defer their suspension. There was a player at Alabama before bowl game, he got suspended for bowl game instead being deferred to next season. Even though his penalty was different from what OSU players did, but still. Eh, screw it every conference has some form of rule breaking going on. Oregon is under investigation by NCAA too. It's sad and it even sadder that many of the fans and boosters are putting the pressure to cheat.

Regulators push 20% down payments on mortgages
So homeowners with shaky income will be subjected to higher interest rate? Or because now bank has to retained some of the security they sell, and as result they're going raise the cost as a result of higher risk since they're holding a measly 5% of the loan? What constitute as a less risk or high risk loan for borrowers? If the cost is the interest rate, what is the risk? If the homeowners meets requirement why is he subjected to same interest rate as say a person that don't meet the same requirement?

snooze
Couple solutions to this, if you're sleeping until 1-2pm, you need lay off caffeine, and do physical exercise during day, and go bed early and you'll wake up when the alarm goes off the first time.

It just not meant to be...
My midterm grade is a B-. I might still be able to make an A-, but long as I'm more careful on the next two tests I'll walk away with a B maybe A..I'll get over it eventually. lol. I think it cause I put too much pressure on myself to succeed..

It just not meant to be...
It just really frustrating when I unintentionally make careless mistakes and we're suppose to be attentive to details when calculating these numbers. It just going prevent me from making an A when I actually know how to do it. I wish they give do over test so you can show that you learned from your mistakes and get credit for it. Employers like seeing your GPA on resume when getting an intern and without intern it be even harder get into the door... I do have a job interview at a bank Wednesday.

I was absolutely ready for this accounting test, went in sat down and proceed. We had to create an amortization table for premium and discount on bonds and I knew how to do this stuff in my sleep..And for some dumb reason I saw bond issued in 2010 mature in 2017 and being semiannual I used 14 as number of periods..and right when I walked out (this was last question I did before turning it in) I stop and said "OH SH#$!!" It's suppose to be 16 as number of periods. There goes 15 points and I knew how to do it only I made a careless error without taking my time.. It really frustrating when you actually know how to do it and you do something careless like that and as result I'm probably going to make a C and might be hell trying get a B in that class.... I hope the other two 16 points questions were 100% correct... :-/ Anybody want to go to Key West and fly fish for Tarpon? I need get my mind off of this...
