its that plastic piece thats connected to that brass rotor. On that youtube vid it shows at 5:15. I superglued back on it seemed to have worked.

ugh i found the problem. the mag rotor is the problem. it seems to be loose and broken.

Ive had this reel for over a year and its been working fine up until recently. I make a cast and half way or less through it over runs and leads to a backlash. Ive fiddled with the mag brake dial and it even had it on the highest settings. also made some adjustments to the zero adjust dial but i cant figure it out. bomb casts are now impossible and its driving me crazy. any suggestions?

my only tip would be ready to set the hook properly. once I see the bass take it I lower the tip of my rod while cranking up some slack line and crack him hard and make sure the butt of the rod is under my armpit.

Dont sleep on the spro spit shad! but yeah the booyah is a great deal but i personally went through too of them this season. my last some popped a hole at the cup of the mouth and the one before that the weight popped off. to be fair I do use them for snake head fishing too so more most of them died that way.

Well you can try using a buzzbait for top water and a chatter bait instead of cranks. Both are single hooks.

Looks like you need some decent replacement treble hooks.
