  1. i run my endura right on the battery. my bow mount maxxum i have a breaker for
  2. actually worked on it today and i believe the issue was the low speed/idle adjustment screws. they were all set different and when i adjusted them about 1/4 turn out more than where they were set as well as evening them up it seemed to stop the stumble and poof. gotto take it on the water but it seems good as of now
  3. ok, my problem with loosing power has been solved and the fix was cleaning the carbs out of gunk. engine runs great above idle but the engine seems to stumble at idle. its idling around 800-850rpms but every 5 seconds maybe it will suddenly seem like it misses or something. the rpms will drop down to like 500 and then it will regain itself and idle normal for a few seconds till it stumbles again. when it stumbles sometimes it will make a little poof noise. also sometimes when starting itll start and stall once or twice and then needs to be cranked for a couple seconds before itll keep itself running. not sure if these carbs maybe need to be tuned or what. any other ideas on what to check for this issue. im gonna chage the spark plug wires this week but i doubt that would cause this. Thanks in advance
  4. ok my tracker 175s livewell pump is not coming on. i dont know if its the pump or something else. the switch on the console doesnt even light up when i push it like it should. i checked all my fuses and they look ok. if a pump is bad wouldnt the switch on the console still ligh up? any ideas
  5. itll be more tippy than th 12v V probably. get something over 40"
  6. one thing i will say is the new tracker revolution hull is a way smoother ride than the older stlye flat bottom trackers. i see allot of aluminum manufacturers still use the flat bottom old tracker shaped hulls and they beat you up. the deep keel on the new trackers really make it a smooth ride IMO.
  7. ok 99 mercury 60hp 2stoke oil injected. the motor i has about 30-40hrs on it. was set up for storage a couple years ago and was a dry tank. anyway i get on the water and after idling out of the no wake zone i get on it but after about 1 min of running fast the engine just looses rpms and come downs to about 2k rpm and stays around 8mph even with the throttle wide open. sometimes itll just pick up and take off all on its own if i keep the throttle down and then loose rpms on its own again shortly after. sometimes it just wont get up and move fast for a while or itll run great for a while its very random. also noticed when it acted up if i let it idle, once in a while itll stall and when i try and start it, it gets flooded. itll blow a bunch of smoke and smell like gas but it clears out pretty easy . when the motor isnt acting up its runs amazing. not quite sure where to start and i really hope someone has a recommendation. hopefully this explanation is understandable lol i changed the plugs and checked the fuel filter already. this is also running on all fresh gas
  8. hey does anyone have any good pics of a mid 90's if possible a 95 nitro 17 tf single console? i might be going to get one saturday but the pics i seen werent so good and i really wanna see some better pics before i make the haul. mostly of the front deck situation. im curious if this front deck has more space than what a tracker 175 has because i know a 175 has enough room in the front for me to be comfortable. ive gotton some info things to look for in the past but if anyone could provide some more info on what to look for on this boat or if anyone knows of any common problems with the model that would be great. the boat has 115 merc on it. im gonna check the compression and fluid in the lower unit for sure, i more so need boat related glass info. sense ive only owned aluminum. thanks guys
  9. i have a older green shimano bantam curado 201. i need new drag washers i believe sense cant tighten down my drag anymore and its getting less and less power. probably just age but im not sure where to get those parts to replace... any help
  10. take it easy on those fishes jaws when holding them. you really got that bigger fish cocked up and you could easily dislocate its jaw and not even know it. handle your fish with care.
  11. take it easy on the gills on those fish. you got them really pulled out
  12. ive been thinking more into it and i am seriously thinking about getting a glass rig when i sell my aluminum this year. i dont know much, actually anything about glass boats so some info from you guys would be great. what does some of the glass companys offer over others. which ones offer better rough water ride, and which ones ride the shallowest when sitting still. i know about checking the outboard for problems but what would i be looking for with a glass to make sure its structure is sound above the obvious chunks missing or cracks? im going to to be looking for something early-mid 90's and up. 17-19ft
  13. ok it seems tracker 165's where not made very well when it came to fitting an outboard from the factory. the space between my cavatation plate and the hull bottom is about 3' - 3.5". I pretty sure that the space is supposed to be like within 1". anyway the cav plate spits up rooster tails out the sides and get my back deck all soaked sense its so far down in the water . i wanna install a manual jackplate so i can lift this motor up to where it should be. ive never had a jackplate and dont really know anything about them. any info on what i should buy would be a great help. the setup is: 99 tracker 165 w/25hp merc 2stroke w/ manual tilt
  14. hardy har har lol
  15. anyone ever try these strike king coffee tubes? ive heard coffee can be a good scent and they seem to be almost identical to mizmo tubes which i like a lot. im gonna try them this weekend on the deleware river for smallies.
  16. one suggestion dont hold bass like you are doing yours cocking them up to far by there jaw. hold them more vertical, i hate when people twist them up by only the lower jaw!
  17. hmm, the lady on the phone from the marine place told me the 2 blade was for heavy weeds and the 3 blade for open water? the 2 blade will be faster than the 3 blade?
  18. i just picked up a 54lb motorguide transom trolling motor that needs a prop. are the 2 or 3 blade props better. itll be used on my john boat and on the back of my 16ft tracker.
  19. what kinda business though? my gf just opened a dog grooming salon lol
  20. hmm.. fishing, fishing and more bass fishing lol thats a big problem for me, im not into much. i used to be really really into cars but i kinda lost my interest and heard some things about working on cars i didnt like so im trying to find out that else is out there for me.
  21. ive been thinking more about careers. i initially wanted to go back to school for auto mechanics but ive heard a few things that are making me wonder if i should. im gonna go back to school next year but i really dont know what the heck i should go for. im kinda clueless as to what careers are out there. i already went to school for computers and stuff and i def dont wanna stay in this field. so maybe some of you guys that have been out in the workforce a bit longer than I can gimme some ideas and thoughts on good field to get into. Ryan

  23. yes NJ is going to be putting a bill up to vote in senate that will rework the NJ fish and game council, and will eventually stop hunting and fishing in nj. anyone who cares or knows someone who cares please do your part to stop this. with the link below you can find your district and write to your senator and assembly about your opposition to this bill. the bill will rework the fish and game so appointed officials instead of the sportsmen, farmers that are appointed now and have been doing a great job for years. its being pushed by animal rights extremest and they have convinced a couple senators to sponsor the bill. even if your not an outdoors sportsmen please just put a few minutes in to help those who you believe have the right to be one. its our constitional right! find out if your senate and assembly are for or against and please vote in the upcoming election accordingly. last night there was a meeting in south jersey and over 900 sportsmen showed up including bassmasster Mike Iaconelli to speak. and let our gov know how we feel. there will also be another rally sunday oct 28th at 4:00pm at Clarksburg Inn, Monmouth County NJ outdoor alliance website: http://www.njoutdooralliance.org/ Link to find your reps: http://www.njleg.state.nj.us/Default.asp below is a letter to send to your senate ans assembly to tell them you oppose the bill and want them to vote NO! I would like to formally state my opposition to A-3275/ S2041, this legislation sponsored by Asym. Michael J. Panter and Asyw Linda R. Greenstein, would change the composition and revise the authority of the Fish and Wildlife Council. This bill is designed to take responsible wildlife management and conservation; based on scientific, time tested and environmentally sound practices and subject them to the whim and frequent changes political climate. Allowing this legislation to become law would create a recipe for disaster for New Jersey's wildlife and ecosystems, as well as create substantial new burdens for New Jersey's taxpayers. This legislation was referred to the Environment and Solid Waste Committee where Mr. Panter, being a committee member, was able to use his influence as well as his vote to get the bill out of committee. It is clear from those committee discussions and from the avid support from anti-hunting and animal rights extremists, that this legislation is an all out attack on the people who have been most responsible for over 100 years of effective wildlife management and conservation in New Jersey, namely the Fish and Wildlife Council as well as hunters, trappers, and fisherman. A-3275 would change the current make up of the Council from 11 members to 7 politically appointed members and would delete language which requires the Council to set up hunting and fishing regulations for public recreation and food supply and make it the responsibility of the Council to institute non-lethal ways of controlling wildlife populations. A small but vocal anti-hunting and animal rights extremist's population has managed to convince Mr. Panter that their opinion represents that of the majority of the New Jersey's citizens and that a change is needed in New Jersey's Wildlife management. Nothing could be further from the truth or from the reality of proper Wildlife management; hunters, farmers, fisherman and the multitude of other outdoorsmen and outdoors women along with the Fish and Wildlife council have been responsible stewards and conservationists of New Jersey's natural resources. While admittedly not huge percentage of New Jersey's overall population, these outdoorsmen and outdoorswomen effectively and efficiently provide the State an invaluable asset, while at the same time the revenue generated from their activities provides funding for educational centers, habitat restoration, fish and wildlife stocking programs, the purchase and maintenance of Wildlife Management Areas enjoyed by those from all walks of life, the list goes on and on. The current Fish and Wildlife Council, conservation officers, wildlife biologists, all those with degrees in wildlife sciences as well as the hunters, fisherman, and others that partners with them should be applauded for their efforts and accomplishments not slapped in the face as A-3275/S2041 does. I am requesting your opposition to and a vote of NO on A-3275/S2041. I will watch your public response to this bill and vote accordingly Sincerely
  24. not my finger it was my friend giving my other frriend the finger for catching a fish lol
  25. well me clay and my buddy chris set out on merrill creek today at 6:30am the fog was super thick so we started to the right in the wood didnt see much happeneing so we headed for the rocks. a little while later i get a hit and set the hook, the fish then come mach1 for the surface and launched its monster self into the air spitting my hook at me. all of us look at each other and say HOLY MOLY! it was the biggest smallie any of us have ever seen. it should have easily went 4-5lbs without exaggerating. anyway the rest of the day was slow one here one there. clay picked one up by the pump house and one by the wood. i got 2 in the wood. my biggest went 4lbs 1oz also got a 2.5lber. after catching the 4lb and thinking back we all agreed that the smallie i lost i think could have eaten my 4lber largy. chris unfortunately got skunked but were hoping to make up for it tomorrow at carnegie. i love the lake but i need to learn more about the deep fishing in it. definitely will be gong back heres some pics
