  1. Use the Keitech soft plastic swimbaits they are amazing. I prefer the Fat Impacts. You can't not catch fish.
  2. Oh yah I have some Yamamoto Flappin Hogs. I thought those might work too.
  3. I got some Havoc bottom hoppers, Netbait T-mac, and Reins Bubbling shakers. But I also was gonna give the Rage Tail craws a shot. It seems like it would work good in theory.
  4. Just a joke!
  5. My Neko rig stuff is showing up and Raul said I could Neko rig anything so I thought I would start with these frogs.......................
  6. My stuff for the Neko rig is starting to show up in the mail. My question is, is this a light line finesse technique only or can you use it on a casting rod with 12 pound line? Thanks.
  7. I thought I saw a post recently where someone said if your Mend It dries out add some MEK (Methyl Ethyl Ketone) which can be purchased at any hardware store. I think Walmart carries it too.
  8. Wow 6# test! Are you using a size 1000 reel or are you using a 600 yard spool to fill your size 2500 reel 1/4 of the way?
  9. Well it sounds like you're helping me figure out which one is better.
  10. I got a few packs on the way. What's your favorite way to fish them? I was intrigued by the ideal of fishing it on a Neko rig.
  11. No problem. Really it's all @EllisJuan fault. He was the one that posted the sales on here in the winter.
  12. I got nothing for you there. People love their JDM rods, they seem to have more of aesthetic quality to them. I think some on here buy JDM to simply admire them. One day maybe I'll have that much money
  13. I got me a NRX 872s for under $370 on that deal And thank you for the record I've mentioned this deal to several people looking in the $200 range for a rod and didn't get much feedback at all. I think it's a steal at $200.
  14. I bought 3 of them this offseason too. I have no issues. Some people say they are big/heavy in terms of today's reels. They are smooth and cast a mile. For $90 I don't think you can get a much better reel.
  15. I got a 15 pound spool of Powerpro Slick and a 16 pound spool of Sunline SX1. Gonna tie each to 7lb Sunline Sniper FC.
  16. You have to click on the link that says email price. Also sign up for the mailing list and save another $25 with a discount code.
  17. I found another one called Spike It Fix a lure. Should I buy one of these marketed for fishing lures or just get one from the Dollar store and save a few bucks for lures
  18. As stupid as this question sounds is there a preferred type of super glue you use for your lures? I'm going to use super glue this year to get a little extra mileage out of my senkos and Keitech swimbaits. Thanks.
  19. Actually I might have something for you. I bought way too many rods this offseason. I got an Abu Garcia Villain 6'9" medium light fast action spinning rod on sale at BPS. The regular price is $179.99 but they had them marked down to $80. If you're interested to pay me $80 + shipping. I used it once. Abu Garcia ML is equivalent to most rod M. Let me know if you're interested.
  20. I had a bad experience customer service experience with Dobyns but saying that they build nice rods. One day a DX 743sf may find a way into my rod collection.
  21. Actually it looks like Monster Fishing Tackle raised their prices because the old sale price I had the rod under $200 now it's about $20 more.
  22. In that price range I would look at the St Croix Avid X and the G Loomis IMX. Through Monster Fishing Tackle website you can get the IMX for under $200.
  23. You want to use mono because of the stretch in the line. Using braid you're more likely to pull lure away from fish.
  24. I panicked about regarding the diameter size and jumped up to the 16 pound SX1.
  25. I just ordered some 12 pound Sunline SX1. Gonna give it a shot.
