  1. I do not have a "modify" button in my profile. I have gone in by going to member then searching for Black Bass. Then I double click on Black Bass and I'm in my profile. Nothing remotely looks like a "modify" button. I also go to one of my posts and select "profile" and I'm in my profile screen with the avitar showing but no modify button. I'm logged in as the message "Good Evening Black Bass..." is showing and I can post. Are there some settings that I need to change so I can modify my avitar? Thanks,
  2. Hi welcome to the list.
  3. Catt, please expand on "bottom contact." Thanks, Thanks Sam another one on my harddrive but I've got lots of room left. ;^)
  4. I'd like to change my avitar. I have read the FAQs and I can get into my profile. However, I do not find a "modify" button.
  5. Hi UlmPsiGuy, Welcome to the forum. As you've already found, it's a great resource for fishing information. However, there will be times when you will ask a question that you will only get one or two responses to. Sometimes you won't get any. All that means is that no one who read your post has an answer for you. You might want to introduce yourself on the "General Bass Fishing Forum" list as that is where most list members look for those introducing themselves. Again, Welcome!
  6. That is a great testament to this list as a fishing resource, and your success was fun reading. Thanks for sharing.

  15. What a nice ending to the story.
  16. Thanks Matt Fly and Catt for your information on Toledo Bend. I'm really looking forward to getting over there to check it out. I'm sure I'll have more questions as I do more reading and studying the maps. You folks that are so willing to share your knowledge really make this board a great resource for us. Thanks.
  17. Thanks Fishfordollars. I'm going to get my Sam Rayburn map out and start marking it up. I hope my health will be improved to where I can take my new (to me) boat over to Sam Rayburn & Toledo Bend and do some fishing this fall. Hopefully, I will stick to my resolve to finally make fishing a priority in my life. Committing to the boat purchase is a big step for me.
  18. I bought a 2004 NX750. I had the Mercury 115 2 stroke checked out by a local boat shop. While they were running the diagnostics the mechanic said "this engine doesn't have many hours on it." When he was done checking it out he said "you have a very strong engine here." When he bought the boat in 2004, the young fellow bought a gallon of oil. (It's oil injected.) He hasn't used the first gallon yet. It's been garage kept so it is just about perfect. I need to get boat insurance. Who do you recommend? I need some training on how to post pictures. Where do I go for that?
  19. I sent mine off. I hope this works.
  20. Toledo Bend and Sam Rayburn. Is the water clear, light stain, heavy stain, or muddy? How much does that very with the time of year? What lines and weigh do you use on both? Anyone who knows those two bodies of water, please respond. Catt is the only person I've read who has first hand knowledge of them.
  21. Thanks Marty. I saved it just in case I have a senior moment.
  22. Thank you! Gosh! that was driving me nuts. I spent most of the morning searching the net and came up empty. Should have come to this board first.
  23. A 2004 Mercury 115 hp 2 stroke engine I'm interested in states that it is an EXLPTO. I've searched the Mercury site and the internet. I find a lot on EXLPTO but no description of what it means. So I come to this board looking for the answer, what does EXLPTO stand for? Thanks
  24. Thanks for all your suggestions. RM I really appreciate your comprehensive information. It now resides on my harddrive.
