  1. The proto looks sick! I like the shape of it a lot and the action looks good too. It would kill on the ledges here. I've been away for a little while. Last I saw you had just started painting and now you're carving...nice man. Can't wait to see some pics with you catching on them.
  2. Marty, those baits are sweet! I really like #'s 2 and 4
  3. I've been with you Matt. If they would let him play like he plays the Titans will win. He and Chris Johnson are what's winning games for the Titans.
  4. I fish out of an aluminum boat. 17 ft lowe. I fish tournaments with it on KY lake and my top three cons with the aluminum boats are wind is your biggest enemy. Be prepared to stay on the trolling motor or learn to drift effectively. TWO is storage isn't always as good as it is on glass boats. THIRD but not last, if you fish tournaments around here in the summer, you'll want to check out the livewell systems on any aluminum boat you buy. Some are insulated, some aren't. Those that aren't will cook fish in the summertime. Be prepared to use lots and lots of ice. Also, mine didn't come with a recirculator. What lakes do you normally fish?

I still think the National Championship will be settled for the SEC championship. It will be a real close game.
  6. I'm a fan of his music. If anyone hasn't looked at his art they need to do that as well. It's like his music, pretty different but can be appreciated.
  7. Haha, well they need all the help they can get right now.
  8. That's exactly what it stands for. As I'm probably the only twins fan on the board I'll confirm that.
  9. I've tried it in 20 lb. I don't think it was bad, but I didn't like it more than 100%.
  10. That last bait in your first picture looks sharp Marty.
  11. Cotton Cordell Super Spots. Black back/chrome or Rayburn Red.

You did a good job on that last pic. Your pretty talented with that brush. The colors look good. I like the pattern
  13. 7'6" MH rod with a 6:3.1 high capacity reel. I normally fish with 12-15 lb fluoro. I like to really sling the bait out there. The extra length helps with casting, hookset on long casts, and it helps a lot when you're ripping baits out of grass clumps.

Sharp! I really like the colors on the fade as well.
  15. Cotton Cordell Super Spot Chrome/Black back Big M flatside or his KB3 imitator When the reaction bite slows I switch to a jig or tx rigged Berkley Chigger Craw.

A shot of your strongest poison mixed with a cup of coffee. Then lots of water and gatorade. Replenish your fluids. Also, Vitamin Water Revive is pretty good for hangovers.
  17. I love Citrus Shad and yours is the best 8-) nice looking baits Marty
  18. How the heck did I miss this? His stories are some of the funniest things I have ever heard in my life. Especially the one where is best friend is in his closet to film his first experience ;D

Na, I just keep drinking my glass of OJ every morning and eating my apples for snacks. Seems to work ok. H1N1 is just a new scare. A lot of the predictions they are making are pretty similar to the averages of the flu bugs that have been around for years.
  20. I'll be looking forward to that speech. Although it would probably be easier to understand than Jo Pa's :-/
  21. The drunk posts got you to that milestone ;D
  22. It looks like a different bait. Those colors really do stand out. A lot of sparkle 8-)
  23. Berkley Cross-Lok snaps. No split rings.
  24. We had a discussion about these not too long ago. Maybe Catt will chime in. He said they used to just stuff bullet weights into skirts before companies started making them molded together. Now there is a company called Paycheck Baits that is making a skirt tied to a bead to be put between your choice of weight and hook. What makes these potentially better is that in some cases, a texas rig comes through grass and brush better than jigs.
  25. Stove Top Stuffing is an excellent filler. Add it as a side to whatever main dish you want to have and it will fill you up no matter what else you're eating. Boxes of the stuff go from .96-1.60ish. Not bad. I also love reubens. I buy a loaf of rye, a pack of sliced swiss cheese, a jar of kraut, a bottle of thousand island, and a ton of Buddig corned beef. That budding is no where near as good as deli corned beef but one pack will make a sandwich for .55!
