  1. Gonna melt? ;D
  2. They tried to pull that one with me too. Here is how you solve that problem... *** has a "over $50 = Free shipping" policy. If you go to customer service and quote this, they will match the internet price and not try to tack on the shipping charge. We all know how easy it is to amass $50 in baits at BPS, unfortunately... :-[ ;D
  3. Most major retailers will. I have done it at BPS before.
  4. POWER ARM FOR THE WIN!!!!!!! Gimme my lefties. ;D
  5. I would rather have the rod in my strong hand for hook-setting purposes. I am right handed. I can fish with both, but prefer left-handed reels. I dont care too much for the science or explanations behind it. I know what feels comfortable for me.
  6. CH51mg for lighter stuff. Revo STX for bigger stuff.
  7. I like the "grammer" title. ;D Definition must be "a person that grams"
  8. Whatever is in season.
  9. Lucky? I dont think so. Sure, there will likely be more limits weighed in, but those who are on good fish will still likely come in with the bigger bag. I wish I could get lucky every tournament and catch one big fish. You dont think the guys that are "good" get lucky sometimes? Oh, and Rejuvenade sucks. Use Catch and Release or Please Release Me by Surelife. Rejuvenade is basically speed for the fish, increasing delayed mortality. The Surelife products contain a sedative and slime coat protection. Thought ya might like to know...
  10. Mattlures Hardgill. Hell, buy two...
  11. Hardgill, yes. Soft, not yet. I typically use the soft gill as a bed fishing bait in the spring. Trust me, it will get a workout. I have a couple ideas for one lake in particular.
  12. I will throw either of them at any time of the year, but I feel the female BG closely resembles more panfish species at any given time of the year. Typically, Male BG swimbaits are painted to resemble a spawning male with more pronounced colors and shades. Most of the year, bluegill have a more subdued and plain look that is better represented by the female version.
  13. I thought you were going to tell us you just got a job as the new "elf" ;D
  14. Illinois application process listed here: http://www.dhs.state.il.us/page.aspx?item=30370
  15. I can help with general disability questions as they are worded for Pennsylvania. I would assume that other states are similar. There is short/long term disability cash assistance available to individuals that meet certain criteria. This assistance is recouped by the state once (or if) ther person is approved for SSI/RSDI benefits. Medical benefits (Medicaid) accompany cash assistance and in my state, the benefits include doctor, hospital, scripts and vision/dental. I used to be the Disability Advocate liaison between our office and Social Security. PM if I can be of assistance. Wayne
  16. Hmmm, sounds like a great place to drag a Hudd through or jig a bluegill swimbait..... Yes, yes indeed.... ;D
  17. IIRC, it was a basstrix bait fry bluegill. Pretty sure.
  18. Dwight, we REALLY need to get together and fish sometime.... That is a horse!!
  19. If they killed everything that was somewhat deformed or "ugly," as you say, there would be far less people posting on BassResource.com. :-X ;D
  20. If it floats, I would say it should get bit. Might want to throw a couple more skirt strands into your mold for the legs. If you have too many, you could always thin them out later. Much easier to thin out than try and add some. I would also try and hide the hook shank a little more in the plastic, whether trying a new hook or moving it back. The way it sticks out now will catch on whatever cover you throw the bait into. These type of baits usually get thrown into some pretty nasty stuff, as you know.
  21. What exactly did you do to "make" this lure?
  22. Weightless trick worm or a Senko.
  23. http://www.***.com/descpageBSTARHARD-BSDC.html I have not held one of these baits, but it looks just like a DOA swimbait weight molded around the lip of the bait. Lip angle and length, line diameter, cast length and retrieval speed are all things you can alter dive depth with.
  24. Hey Sean....I'll bring the swimbaits!! Nice fish
  25. Fishing the weeds at the upper end? Roll a spinnerbait through there sometime, almost guaranteed to catch Picks all day long. Let me know if you want to hit that lake up again. Sucks walking up that hill, dont it? ;D
