If you are gonna throw a Wake Jr. up there in Canada, make sure you have some heavy duty fluoro leader. I am sure you know that pike love expensive stuff. If you can keep it from breaking off, either the Jr. or the Baby Wake would be good choices. A Slammer would be great for you up there too

I thought the same exact thing....buy some and you wont be disappointed. For skunked, I fish in pike and musky waters using 20 and 25lb Pline CXX. You will be fine with that line.
