Trig, what is that bait in the second pic? I see it has a jointed body, but thats about all I can tell from the pic. Also, where did that Lucky Craft in the first pic come from? I dont see that color offered at the sites I visit. Thanks.

The wake Jr. is right around 3oz, just a tad more (3.1 according to the site, BB is 3.2). In the grand scheme of things, it may be at the top of the rod rating but if you lob the bait instead of trying to "flick" it, you will be perfectly fine.

Quite a few highlights from this year... -Lake Guntersville for the Road Trip w/ Alpster and all the other BassResource.com'ers. RiskKid had us over to his house for steaks that are BOMB!! Got to fish with RW, CJ, Masshole, Keri and Bob Lusk....Good times, good times. -Trip to Vermont to see fiance's family. Discovered they had a little 30 acre jewel in their back yard. 120+ smallmouth in two days, biggest 5 went over 21lb. - Went to the Chunk to fish with Muddy. Need I say more? LOL - Traveled to RI to see Russ and lend a hand at a CAST event. Gotta tell you if you have never been to one of these, go for the experience. If the looks on those kids' faces doesnt move you, I really couldnt tell you what will. - Trip to the Chesapeake catching bluefish ALL DAY LONG. Sweet. Numerous others, tired of typing. ;D

I agree with you RW. We need some new energy ideas and get this country off of its addiction to foreign oil. The problem how I see it is this. There are far too many important people in this country poised too make far too much money, period end of story. The trials and tribulations of capitalism.... I dont like paying high amounts for gas, but it really stings when your own system is being used against you. :-/

I can see your point about going fishing anyway. True. If you are going to tout yourself as "dam good," you had better have some solid evidence to back it up. The "I could care less" attitude would be less than flattering to potential sponsors, more like off-putting. Again, let me reiterate that this is not directed specifically at you. Not you specifically, but "you" being an everyday angler or even an above average person seeking sponsorship. Its not just "free stuff". More like rewards for services provided. If you dont provide any service or an appreciable increase in a sponsor's business, why on earth would you get "free stuff". You tell me...
