I didnt watch a single minute of it. They have disappointed me in the past, so I figured "Why bother?" Like you said, the guys on here did a great job of keeping us posted and "in the know" with their behind the scene pictures and info. If there were any other viable options for watching bass fishing on Saturday mornings, they would get the nod over ESPN any day of the week. Wayne

I dont know about misfortune, but if you could fine people for acting like arseholes or being stupid, the Philadelphia Parking Authority would write 10X as many tickets as they do on that show. I find it rather amusing to watch that show. It really burns me to see people parking in the Handicapped spot, but makes me smile to see the $301 ticket they get for doing so. Wayne

Last year, my tourney partner hooked a snapping turtle on a Crigged worm. Very entertaining watching him try and get the hook out. The only time something like this happened to me, I was fly fishing back in the day. I was casting dry flies and it was getting toward sunset, so the hatch was going off great. I pulled my back cast and let it fly forward. Fly line landed in the water, but the tippet was magically hovering in mid air.... I look at the end of the line and what do I see? A freaking bat. I hate bats. That quick little sucker swooped down and picked my fly out of mid air. Little fella really impressed me that night. A quick backward snap of the rod and the guy next to me got up close and personal with Mr. Bat. After a few choice words were spoken, the bat somehow came free. I found it entertaining, the guy with me did not. LOL

Well, depending on how quick you intend on buying the rod, I can give you a full report on how it performs toward the end of next month at Guntersville. I have the 7'6" Flippin Stick

I like the feeling on mine too. Of course, I cant give an accurate fishing picutre since all I have done with it is look at it in the basement LOL

I have seen quite a few posts on here regarding the effectiveness of the Karu lures. Nothing negative that I have seen. Skirt colors are great on his site too!!!

I read a post by Mattlures the other day that got me thinking. It's really a simple thought, one that applies to just about any lure choice while fishing. How do you determine whether you should be fishing a hard plastic swimbait or one of the soft plastic ones? Matt basically made the point that each one is a tool that has its time and place. I want to know what those times and places are and why? LOL Fourbizz already answered a number of my questions, thought I would throw this one out there for everyone else. Thanks in advance!!! Wayne

I have a 9.5 sitting in my garage right now that a buddy loaned me, thinking it was good to go. Unfortunately, I spent Sunday attempting to start it with no luck. So, we are still in the same predicament. After looking it over, I dont know that I would trust it for a week of fishing. The last thing I want to do is watch Ronnie paddle across Guntersville using his hand as an oar. LOL Thanks again for the support fellas.
