    BEAUTIFUL!!!!! Falcon
  2. I agree with Chris, on the John Mills baits. I fished John's crankbaits for 1 1/2 seasons, and they still look new. They caught ALOT of fish too. VERY durable, and productive baits..........Thanks John. Falcon
  3. Way to go Matt!! Both my sons got called back to work last week. Both had been out of work since January. Things are looking up. Falcon

  7. I typically wait until either the night before, or just before I leave, and tie on baits to match the conditions. I rarely have any baits on form the previous day.(except my spinnerbait rod, that's always tied on) There have been days that I think I treid every bait I owned, just to provoke a strike. Falcon
  8. Hey neighbor, welcome to the best fishing site on the net. You're going to love Toho. Have you fished there before? Falcon
  9. Hey BLee, I've had John's swimbaits for a season and a half, and since I fish mostly for smallies I haven't caught any bass with them. However, there were twelve Lake St. Clair muskies that fell to them. They're very nice baits. John makes fantastic crankbaits too. Falcon
  10. Very nice!! Falcon
  11. I've only tried the original Spook. It's always caught fish, so I never saw the need to downsize. I use a 7' medium/fast rod. Falcon

  14. Well Jack, I've got you beat. About three years ago, I was out fishing one of my favorite Spring spots, when I saw a wrapped boat fishing about 150 yards away. After about a half hour, he came up to my boat, and grabbed the gunwale. He said he'd been watching me "really hauling them in", and wanted to know what I was using. He said he was in a tournament, and really needed the win. I just looked at him and said "since you have all those sponsors, I'm sure one of them makes something you can catch fish with, and if you scratch my boat, I'll beat you with my boat hook"............. He left without another word. I guess it doesn't matter what lake you're on, they all have a few boneheads. Falcon
  15. Congratulations!! You have great Parents. You've had many good suggestions. These are my top three: 1-ALWAYS wear tour PFD. 2-Take the boating safety course. 3-Always make sure you have the kill-switch hooked up. Have fun, and good luck. Falcon
  16. One of my most productive shallow crankbaits. My most productive colors are, Shad, Silver, and Purpledescent. Falcon

  25. I've had MUCH more success with my Strike King Sexy Swimmer, than my Tru-Tungsten. I'll give the Tru-Tungsten one more season before I relegate it to the "What was I thinking pile". Falcon
