  1. Well, I've said before, and I'll say it again. " At least you aren't a Lion's fan" You at least had an entertaining regular season. I have dents in my family room walls, because of my Lions induced tantrums. Falcon
  2. WOW!!! What a game. My wife, who is a "luke warm" football fan at best, didn't leave the couch in the second half. Falcon
  3. Gives new meaning to the term "Horny Toad". Falcon
  4. Well, I haven't had time to write my book yet. So, until I do, the two I would read are Al Lindner's, and KVD's. ;D ;D Falcon

  7. Last season I boated a ton of bass on soft swimbaits. This season I will continue using them, as well as my new hard swimbaits. Falcon IS IT SPRING YET????
  8. No need to change those Tx3 hooks. As roadwarrior said, the Blue Chrome/Orange Xr50 is a good producer. Falcon

  10. Welcome to the best fishing site on the net...........Even though you're a buckeye fan. ;D Falcon

  13. Congratulations!!! Very good news. Good luck, Falcon
  14. We're expecting 3"-5" here. It's the first time this season that I'll have to fire up the tractor. We've had a couple snowfalls of up to 1", but that's all. That's very unusual for this area. It's been falling all around us, but not here. Falcon
  15. I agree with Randall. The clear/translucent skirts with silver works well. That's what I use on my spinnerbaits also. Falcon

  18. These are my four best of '09: 1-6lb-4oz largemouth, caught on a Rattle Head Spinnerbait, on 5/4/09 at 11:55 A.M. 2-6lb-1oz smallmouth, caught on Rattlin Rapala (Red Craw), on 5/29/09 at 9:30 A.M. 3-6lb even smallmouth, caught on a Rattle Head Spinnerbait, on 8/25/09 at 8:20 A.M. 4-6lb-5oz smallmouth, caught on an XCalibur Xr50 (Pearl Melon), on 9/5/09 at 7:35 A.M. My wife lost one at the boat, that had to be in the seven pound range. I keep lecturing to her about those wimpy hook sets. Falcon

  20. NO!!! As long as it was caught within the laws of the state, it should not matter. Caught is caught. QUOTE: "It doesn't take much skill to fish with live bait". Wanna bet???? Every time someone makes this statement, I just laugh. So many people believe if you put a live shiner in the water, the fish come from miles around to eat it...........not true. Just my opinion. Falcon

  24. I had very good success with the Shadilicious, and Luck "E" Strike Bass Magic swimbaits. I also used the 4 1/2" size. The hook I used last year was a Stanley Swimbait/Frog hook. It has the weight at the nose of the bait. This year I'm going to use the Gamakatsu Swimbait Hook, because I want to try the weight in the belly area. Falcon By the way, I used a 7/0 hook with 3/8 oz weight.
  25. In the ultra clear water of Lake St. Clair, the colors that produce best for me are; 1-Chartreuse Shad 2-Ghost Minnow 3-MS American Shad I also have more success with the 78 size. Falcon
