  1. I always have my multi-tool on my belt. That's all I ever need. Falcon
  2. Last season I did fantastic using Luck "E" Strike Bass Magic (Green Shiner), and Strike King Shadilicious (Chartreuse Shad, and Green Gizzard). Late in the season I got a Strike King Sexy Swimmer. I did OK in the short time I used it. I'm looking forward to giving it a workout this season. Falcon
  3. Mustad Power Lock Plus. I just got some last week. BPS had them on clearance. $2.88 for a package of three. Falcon
  4. Very cool contest John. The funny thing is, yesterday I jokingly told Cindy "they're probably earrings.", and she said no, "not on a fishing forum"...........oh well. Now, thanks to you, buzzcatcher's all set for Valentine's Day. ;D Falcon
  5. With all the articles written, and all of the speculation on this subject, all I can say is, here on St. Clair, my numbers of big smallmouth have increased, but in the last couple years I've caught MANY more juvenile fish than in the past. In my opinion the smallmouth are fairly prolific spawners. 2009 was my best year ever, for quality, as well as quantity. With all the "Doom & Gloom" on this subject, I feel quite the opposite. I have no scientific data. All I have is my experience over the last 2-3 years, and all I see is improvement in what was already a FANTASTIC fishery. Just my opinion. Falcon

  9. Holy Cats!!! How deep do the bottom three dive??? Beautiful work, as always. Falcon
  10. I use 12 lb Trilene XL, on a 7' Med/Fast rod. It's been a good combination for me. The past two seasons I've fished lipless crankbaits more than ever, with fantastic results. I fish very clear water with alot of weeds, and these are the baits that produce for me. 1-XCalibur Xr50 in Pearl Melon, or Blue Chrome/Orange. 2-Rattlin Rapala in Chrome Blue, or Red Crawdad. 3-Red Eye Shad in East Texas Special, or Sexy Shad. 13. I always threw Terminator T-1, but last season I got a bad batch. Dull hooks, and components falling off changed my mind. Now I use Rattle Head, Stanley Wedge, and Strike King Premier Plus. Falcon
