Your Favorite Bronzeback Lure?
It used to always be jerkbaits, but in the last couple seasons, I've caught ALOT more on double willowleaf spinnerbaits, and lipless crankbaits. 2010 will be a little different, because I'm going to force myself to use tubes each trip, until they finally start producing for me. Falcon

To Refinish or Not to Refinish used modern lures???
For $8.00 per lure, it's not a bad idea. Especially, if it's a lure you have alot of confidence in. Terry has some nice baits, and I like the fact that he will personalize them with your name. Go for it. Falcon

New gear for 2010
The only new baits I'm getting for next season are custom baits made by a few members of this site. 1-"BIG M" will be making me a few crankbaits. 2- "idlov2fish" made me a few new baits that I haven't had a chance to fish yet. John's crankbaits put ALOT of bass in my boat in '09. 3- I just sent "bnwcrankin" a few baits for repainting. I've got plenty of mass produced baits. I want to fish some custom made baits from some of the extremely talented members of this site. Falcon

New for 2010?
With the phenomenal year I had in '09, I'm not sure I want to do anything different. The two things I will probably try are: 1-Force myself to slow, down and finally catch a smallie on a tube. All my buddies laugh at me because I never use them in the lake. 2-Use my hard swimbaits more. Falcon

Remember the Wonder?
In the St. Clair River, every "river-rat" has a handful of wonderbread baits for the walleye, including me. It's a very popular color for the pencil plugs. Falcon

Some of the first ones.
Very nice work!!! It's hard to believe those are your first try. You have a great mentor. I love John's baits. Falcon

Hello
Welcome to the best fishing site on the net. Falcon P.S. I like your other hobby too. Lake St. Clair is home to some of the fastest boats in the state.(100 MPH plus) I just have a 25' Baja Sportfish Center Console, with a 250 EFI Mercury.

Soft Plastic Swimbaits??
I've only tried two. Luck"E"Strike Bass Magic 4 1/2" in Green Shiner, and 4 1/2" Strike King Shadilicious in AYU, and Chartreuse Shad. Both brands put ALOT of fish in my boat. I used a 7/0, 3/8 oz, Stanley Swimbait/Frog hook, with a #6 treble for a stinger hook. Falcon

New for 2009
I was a little late getting on board with the swimbaits, but when I did, it was phenomenal. Mostly soft swimbaits, but late in the year, the Strike King Sexy Swimmer put a few in the boat. Falcon
