Hello Everyone.  This is a great site!  I belong to an independant bass club called The Maine Blade Runners.  We fish over a dozen tournaments a year, chasing both largemouth and smallies.  I've been at it for several years but still consider myself a rookie.  I compete with some awesome fishermen.  Just when I start to think I'm getting good, the fish teach me how much I still don't know.  I think about bass fishing every day, even through our long deep freeze up here.  Fished my first BIG event as co-angler at the Bassmaster Open on Lake Champlain last year.  Going back in July!

Yes this is a great site, and Maine is a great place to live and fish!  Except for the time of torture, waiting for the ice to thaw.  I'm way over here in Washington county.  Long, long ways from so. maine.
