Here on St. Clair, I've caught many 14"-16" largemouth with my 9" Grandma's and 8" Shallow Raiders, and big Bucktails. It's amazing, how bass will attack a bait that's half as big as themselves. Falcon
  5. It really isn't as bad as it looks. If you have a good pair of bibs, Parka, the right socks and boots, you can fish for hours in relative comfort.............If the cursed wind isn't howling. I'm going to introduce Grimlin to icefishing on Monday. Looking forward to meeting him. Anybody else game???? Falcon

  11. I don't peg sinkers anymore. I use the BPS Perfect Finesse Worm Rig, or Perfect Worm Rig, on the top of pg. 283, in the new catalog. The weight is molded onto the Gamakatsu hook, and they come in three different colors. No problem. Falcon

  16. I have a "MAN CAVE". It has all my fishing, boating, water skiing (that I can't use anymore), hunting/guns, tools. I'm trying to convince my wife that the computer should be there also, but that hasn't happened yet. Falcon
  17. I'm not!!!! I've cleaned and lubed my reels, made several tackle purchases, and organized my tackle bags (many times). These are things I don't normally do until February, and they've been done for a month now. We finally have some safe ice, so I'm going to do a little ice fishing, but it's still not the same as getting in the boat and hitting my favorite smallmouth haunts. Falcon

  19. I can't change the channel fast enough when I hear that obnoxious voice of his. Falcon
  20. If you've had the pain for two weeks, and it's keeping you from sleeping, it's time to see the doctor. Alot of people have had symptoms of one sort or another, but might not be the same problem you have. I've had surgery on L4, L5, S1, due to disc herniation. I also tried to live with it, and only worsened the problem. I now have enough Titanium in my lumbar spine to build a car. Tokyo Tony had a very good suggestion, with the pillows. My Neurosurgeon suggested that years ago and it does help. As Catt said an MRI will be a good start in diagnosing your problem, instead of trying alot of home remedies. Everybody means well, but you only get one spine. Good luck, Falcon
  21. I've always depended on Remington or CCI for quality, and consistency with my .22LR ammo. Falcon
  22. I voted truck, but I'm very lucky, because I have a key to my best friends 40th anniversary Corvette. Falcon
  23. On the water, there is a tranquility I can't get any place else. Then there are the fish. Trying to figure out what will work on that particular day. Falcon
  24. For two cents, you can't go wrong. Falcon
  25. I purchased the last one BPS (Detroit) had. Now I'm waiting for the ice to melt. Falcon
