  1. Well, I think that says it all about Akita's. Falcon
  2. I also had Lumbar surgery. (L5-S1) I had cages and rods put in in 2001. The body brace is not fun, especially in 90* heat. Good luck, Falcon
  3. CONGRATULATIONS!!! Falcon
  4. I have the same problem as you, only I had to have the surgery. (after an auto accident) I had C4-C5 fused, and a Titanium plate in C5-C6. I've also been through the EMG. It's not a pleasant experience. Are you seeing a Neurosurgeon? If you have any questions, PM me. Good luck, Falcon
  5. Last season one of my buddies had the same problem with a 1/2 oz. bait. He just returned it to BPS with no questions asked. Falcon
  6. Last season I had alot of success with Rattle Head Spinnerbaits. I also like Terminator, and Strike King. Falcon
  7. I also have a MAJOR case of cabin fever. Every time I look out my front window, all I see is this frozen tundra called Lake St. Clair. I look out my back window and I see my boat covered with snow, and buried in snowdrifts. I've cleaned, and organized my tackle. My reels have been cleaned and lubed twice. I've purchased a ton of tackle, and have a shopping list as long as my leg for this weekends trip to the BPS Classic. I watch all the fishing shows, and read every fishing magazine, and all that's done is increase my fever. IS IT SPRING YET??? Falcon
  8. There is a shop less than a mile from my house. I used to walk there and spend a couple hours talking fishing, or whatever. Two brothers owned it and would order anything I needed. About ten years ago they sold it for another business venture. Now the guy that owns it is a real clown. If he doesn't sell it, you don't need it. He won't special order anything. There is another tackle shop/boat rental about a half mile from my house, that went out of business last year. I noticed last week that someone was there cleaning, and re-modeling, so I hope I will have a new place to go for my fishing equipment, and some good service, instead of traveling thirty-five miles to BPS. Falcon
  9. We stayed at the Iberostar near Playa Del Karman, a few years ago. It was extremely nice. I didn't do any fishing though. Like Tyrius said, the pools at these places are like lakes. I've fished in some ponds that weren't that big. Falcon
  10. Fantastic!!! Falcon
  11. The St. Clair smallies like the Hot Pink, Silver/Blue, and Silver X-Raps. I mostly use the XR10 size. Falcon
  12. I've got sixteen Abu Garcia baitcasters, so all I ever use is their oil and grease. Every year when I clean them and lube them, I've never had a problem. Falcon
  13. I think he's a monumentally talented fisherman, however, when he starts all the screaming, he's quite obnoxious. Falcon
  14. My wife and I have E-Filed our taxes for the last three years. Having the money in your account in a week or less sure beats the old way. Falcon
  15. Welcome Shawn. Do you fish the Flint River much? My buddy has a place in the Birch Run area, and we fish the river occasionally. There's another river in the same area, but I don't know the name. Falcon
  16. I chose the STX. After two full seasons, all my Revos have served me flawlessly. My next choice would be the Zillion, I recently had an opportunity to take a few casts with one and I loved it. Falcon
  17. That's strange. I've never had a problem with my Red Eye's. I fish them alot and never had any paint come off, including Chrome/Blue. Might be a problem with a certain lot. Good luck, Falcon
  18. How's the weather? Hope all goes well. Stay safe and catch alot. Falcon
  19. I can't make up my mind, which one I like better. Here on St. Clair, both colors would kick butt. Beautiful work!! Falcon
  20. I have two of them. I like them alot. For $59.00, they are a great value. Falcon
  21. If I'm not mistaken, Shimano did the same thing last year. Falcon
  22. Nice start to a new season. Way to go. Falcon
  23. Welcome to the best fishing site on the net. Falcon
