I've caught many tagged walleye, and smallmouth, but they've had no monrtary value. Like Sam said, Michigan DNR follows their travel patterns, and growth rates. Michigan DNR used to send a certificate, and all the information of the fish: where it was tagged, date it was tagged, length, and weight. Falcon
