I'm a football nut, and since the Detroit Lions are falling apart and the U of M had a lousy season my favorite team for the last few years has been the Patriots. The reason the Pats are such a good team is the offense is run by a Michigan Quarterback. And the defense has a few Michigan men also. LOL Falcon

1- I usually t-rig Sweet Beavers and hop them along the bottom. Later in the season I sometimes fish them on top the lilly pads like a frog. 2- I use trailer hooks about 75% of the time on my spinnerbaits. I never use a trailer bait with a trailer hook. I sometimes use a chatterbait trailer on my spinnerbaits, but I catch alot of pike with that set-up. 3- Never worry about asking questions, that's what is so great about this site. The reason I ask is I'm going to central Florida in early February, and I'm researching guides right now. I've used Trilene XL for over twenty years with no problems. I've tried other lines on occasion, but I always go back to XL. I like the clear blue fluorescent, it's very visible, sun or clouds. Falcon

With all the things you mentioned, I would use 10-12# Trilene XT. Falcon
