I'm convinced, I just got back from Dick's. I got a Sammy and tried it in my canal, WOW, what a difference. I can walk it with very little effort. I should have listened long ago. Falcon

No Avids here either. It's a brand new store and they only had one Premier and one Triumph. Falcon

I use three different Rapalas: 1-Husky Jerk HJ06 in Tenn. Shad. Same size as the shiners in the lake. 2-Shad Rap SR05. More for the bigger fish. 3-If you are fishing from a boat, the Swimming Jig in the 1/8 oz 1 1/2". It's a great lure for fishing vertical. I've caught perch from 6" to 14" on this lure. My buddy got one 15 1/2" about five years ago, through the ice. Good luck, Falcon

Russ, sorry to hear you're not doing so well. Is there anything else the doctors can do for the pain besides the Imitrex? I have chronic spine pain (take morphine and Percocet daily) but I can at least function most of the time with the meds. I hope this monster leaves you alone soon. I'll keep you in my prayers. I hate to catch bowfin (dogfish), they're a real pain. Whenever they are around, all other gamefish leave. They fight like crazy, but they are just a pain in the butt. Falcon

I believe there is some other "being" out there, whether it's Bigfoot or Sasquatch, or whatever name it's given. There have been too many stories about the subject. It's even mentioned in some Idian folklore. Until there is some real proof of their existance, there will be non-believers. Falcon

I was a member for a number of years. After I joined here I lost interest in NAFC. They try to lure you in with the "field testing", they show you rods, reels, trolling motors, and alot of expensive items, but in reality all I ever got was a few nickel and dime things that broke. As others have mentioned, they send ALOT of books and videos that you didn't ask for, most aren't very informative. I don't think it's worth joining. Just my opinion. Falcon

If Mike Hart didn't get hurt he would have been one of the front runners. He had over 1,000 yards after the sixth game. He played a half game Saturday against Michigan State and got 118 yds, but he re-injured the ankle. Now we'll be lucky if he's ready for the Ohio State game. Falcon
