I really got nervous when I saw the title of this thread. Sorry to hear about your back. Having been through six spine surgeries, I can honestly say I feel your pain. The best thing you can do is rest. Moist heat always helped me. If you can get in and out of the bathtub without too much pain, hot soaks are best. The best fishing of the year is right around the corner, so get better. As Sam said, take it easy the next ten days or so and watch as much football as you can and don't even think about fishing. One more word of caution, when you start feeling better, start off easy and don't think you can do everything as normal. Good luck, Falcon P.S. Glad to hear your wife is doing better.

The D series reels are slightly smaller, with a recessed reel foot to give them a low profile feel. (a little easier to palm than the C series) I have a D5 that I absolutely love. The IPT is 23" so I use it for Deeper diving crankbaits. Falcon
