  19. 99% of tournaments I fish in Fl. The fish becomes property of the event and must be released, However I often wonder about a heavy female that is ready to bust being removed from her bed or bedding area, taken miles away in a live well, put on scales, then released miles away. Does she abort her eggs?????
  20. As one of my 6, 25 Year old Curado 201's "grenaded" while fishing this week I have decided to replace it with this reel on my cranking stick with 6.8 retrieve. Got a very good price on Amazon. Any one happen to own any? All the reviews were 4.9 Ski
  21. Allot of Carolina rigs with lizards.
  22. Small baits, Light line, 7' medium, fast action rod. 10-15lb Powerpro. Maybe Fluro Leader depending on water clarity.
  23. The St Johns Bass Anglers 2022 Season is underway! We launched in Welaka’s “River of Lakes” and had a great turnout to start our year. Long time club member Jason Stake takes the win with an eye-popping limit of 20.61 pounds! His kicker was an 8.46 pound beauty. Jason readily admitted he locked into Rodman Reservoir for this one and although he had very few bites, they were the right ones. Clearly. Dr. Matt Gilg was a very close second with his own impressive limit—19.18 pounds. Matt says he caught all his best fish throwing a spinnerbait. His kicker was 6.65 pounds. Our 2021 Club Champion rounds out the Top 3, also with a nice limit. It’s probably a safe bet that Pat had a Zoom Trick Worm in his hand all day. Here are your Top Five: 1st - Jason Stake 20.61 2nd - Matt Gilg 19.18 3rd - Pat Lanier 12.45 4th - Matt Moody 8.13 5th - Jack Avery 7.70 Big Fish: Jason Stake 8.46
