  8. When the first fish of the day is 10.25 lbs you may as well quit for the day. It only goes downhill from there. My friend and club member caught her in this North Fl. heat early this week.

It is said, that it is the most effective rigged like that or as a Flipping/ pitching rig. I pool tested it and it has a vertical fall that looks enticing as the appendages flicker around on the fall then fish it back to you like a Texas rigged worm.

Anyone fish the Rage Bug with a weighted hook regularly? If so on a scale of 1-10 what are your results?
  11. Orange was HOT this spring as I fished two TNTs there this year and great bags were caught @ allot of events. Have not been there since June 5th and as mentioned the Hydrilla was thick. I fished a swimming worm, punched the thick stuff. There was still allot of open water to fish. But most fish came from pockets of open water surrounded by Hydrilla. Stay out of Lochloosa if you have a choice.
  12. Keep it simple to start.

  14. It's no secret that Bass see Red and Green the best. Red is a sign of weakness (Blood) I have always been a fan of Watermelon/red flake. Just my 2 cents.
  15. Pro Jeff Sprague of Wills Point, Texas, will forfeit his fifth-place finish from the 2022 Stage One Bass Pro Tour event in West Monroe, Louisiana, for violating Bass Pro Tour rule No. 23-A. The disqualification was announced today by Don Rucks, Executive Vice President and General Manager of Major League Fishing. The rule states that Bass Pro Tour anglers are prohibited from intentionally soliciting or intentionally receiving any information pertaining to tournament waters from a non-competitor for the purpose of locating or catching bass. If any such information is unintentionally being received from a non-competitor, the MLF Bass Pro Tour angler must politely ask the non-competitor to cease from divulging the information.
