  1. After a couple of years of being used to make the new movie "TOP GUN-2" this F-18 E has just arrived @ our facility in Jacksonville Fl. for rework, fresh paint and being returned to the active fleet.
  2. June is a tough month in Fl. Because of high water temps, High heat, little breeze, lots of Hydrilla gnats. We stop fishing on May 30th. If I had to, it would be Stick Marsh, Rent a condo in Vero Beach.
  3. You can also use the small dental rubber bands used for braces. They are strong, tiny, effortless to install and add like no weight @ all and will last all season. .
  4. Do not know California law and would not have expected different lakes to have different requirements for a PFD. I prefer the full vest. Which ever one you choose "JUST USE IT"

Just N. of Palatka. Just the baits he prefers, and also being more patient waiting for the right angle before I make a cast.
  6. Fished St Johns River yesterday with one of the senior members of the club I joined two years ago. I got schooled again. He caught 9 including this 6.5 and I three. Fishing used water behind this guy is almost impossible to get a limit.
  7. There is some tough news coming out of Lake Seminole, a famed bass fishery, after a tragic two-boat accident occurred this past week. The two boats were fishing two separate tournaments; a local derby and a Florida B.A.S.S. Nation Junior/High School Anglers tournament. According to multiple reports, the incident occurred near the Highway 84 bridge on the Flint River, which is very close to the popular Earle May Boat Basin. The Georgia Department of Natural Resources states that a 2022 Xpress center console boat and a 2001 Stratos Bass Boat collided in the afternoon. The driver of the Stratos, 43-year-old Jason P. Davis of Bainbridge, Ga. was pronounced dead at the scene while his passenger was taken to a nearby hospital. The occupants of the Xpress boat, 48-year-old Eric Mitchell and a 16-year-old angler, were taken to the hospital as well. This accident is currently under investigation and it’s expected to take a few months to complete. Currently, alcohol is not suspected and an accident reconstruction is being completed.
  8. Just tied this knot 3 times using 30# braid and 17# Fluro. I am impressed with the size (Smaller then) Alberto, easier to tie and definitely strong! Thanks

Chicago was safer when Al Capone ran it.
  10. Looks like Blaylock for the win.
  11. Made it out again yesterday to Rodman Res. in Palatka FL. I fished with a new member of our club who put me on fish in short time and short distance from the ramp. When he came off plane I was a little skeptical of the area as it was a LARGE stump flat 7 foot deep. He pulled out his cranking set up and I thought to myself "that ain't going to work" I picked up a swim jig and trailer something that would not be so prone to snagging stumps, well he put 3 in the boat before I even finished my coffee. I was convinced @ that point to follow his lead. I begain throwing a "Flatside 5 " and the first fish I caught shortly after was this 5.8 lb that was followed up with 5 more LM over 2 lb. By 2:30 "Lines out" he had caught 11 and I six. Our best 5 went 18 lbs.
  12. Let me know if your back seat is open!
  13. Fished a 17 boat 34 angler club TNT this weekend on Rodman. I am a "back-seater" in the club and managed to catch 4 to bring to the scales and "jumped two off" Although I struggled throughout the day I still had a fun safe and enjoyable day on a dangerous lake to navigate. Fish Weighed- 95 Total Weight-174.69 lbs Average weight-1.84 Number dead fish -1 Big Fish- 7.42 Released alive-94
  14. I "think" this is incorrect as of right now "It’s catch and release only for largemouth bass" The FWC website still shows... State regulation applies 5 LM, only 1 may exced 16 inch. If I am incorrect, and I may be please post new Reg.
