Did you vote today?
In all but a few cases your letters, emails and phone calls are handled by staff and never read by your representative, except if you are a lobbyist, it's the same on both sides of the aisle. A normal ebb and flow of mid term election, the next one will probably be the reverse of this one. If that's true, then why am I getting phone calls from my elected officials? Its these types of correspondence with people in power that got us the right to fish for bass year round in much of our state, overturning a policy that had been place for nearly a century. Can you do the same for Muskie? I hate having to wait until the third weekend in June to hit some of my favorite NY Muskie lakes.

who are the top 3 teams in the nfl?
Unfortunately, the way they got things done during their 3 Super Bowl winning seasons wasn't legal. They haven't won a Super Bowl since their "secret technique" was discovered. With Big Ben as your QB, you might want to tone down the talk about illegal activity. :-X Just saying. ;D Haha...true enough. I'm not a Big Ben fan (anyone who engages in that type of behavior should be properly punished). I'm just bitter toward the Patriots because of their defeat of the Steelers in the AFC Championship in 2005. I was there in the 5 degree weather only to watch the Steelers take an @$$ beating. As far as the perfect season goes, I have to say I think a Super Bowl victory is more important than a perfect season.

who are the top 3 teams in the nfl?
Now Glenn, Super Bowl XL was almost five years ago. I let go of my hostility towards the Cowboys from Superbowl XXX a while ago (though, I will say I am not terribly upset the Cowboys are imploding right now). My Top 3: 1. Jets 2. Patriots 3. Ravens (I would put the Steelers 1, 2, & 3, but it seems when the Steelers are favored, they don't fare as well. Therefore, I don't want to jinx them).

Ever been to Vegas?
I really like the VooDoo Lounge at the top of Rio. Really good food, nice club, and Great View. Food is a little pricey, but again, it is good.

Chilean Miners
Actually, if you are talking about the same guy I heard about, the wife and mistress found out about each other a lot earlier when the guys were trapped. The wife said she would stand by her man if he agreed to never see that other woman again. Well, the miner requested that both his wife and mistress be there when he was rescued, ignoring that fact that his wife told him she would stand by him if he got rid of the mistress. When the wife found out that he also requested the mistress be there, she refused to come to the rescue. The mistress did show up.

Zig Ziglar
This is a common theme among many of the self help gurus and motivational speakers. I've been to many seminars, Werner Erhad ( EST ), Tony Robbins, even my child hood friend Jackie Kallen, former boxing manager of James Tony, now motivational speaker. Have read many of the books published over the years, C. Clement Stone, Norman Vincent Peale, Napoleon Hill, Og Mandino just to name a few. I found the emphasis to be more on spirituality rather the proselytization of the Christian religion, in fact in many cases the audiences were made up from people of all faiths. The benefits were incredible. This seminar is definitely Christian (when a speaker has a discussion on how Jesus Christ should be your Savior in their presentation, then I don't think all faiths are included).

Congratulations on all your purchases! Hmmm...that is never a good way to start off any sentence.

Zig Ziglar
I went to that seminar when it came to Pittsburgh. Unfortunately, you won't see the Mr. Ziglar you hope to see. He had an accident about 2 or 3 years ago where he fell down some stairs and his short term memory was affected (he seemed pretty feeble as well). What they do now is his daughter (or son when I saw him) leads him out onto the stage and asks him one or two questions. Then they show a bunch of old clips of him. They end it with one or two more questions and that is it for Mr. Ziglar (the poor guy talked about the same thing he discussed just 20 minute prior - the home field advantage -and the son cut him off knowing he was repeating himself). I personally think it is sad to see him still doing these talks (unless, of course, he wants to do so). It just appeared to me that he was being pimped out or was there to fulfill some contractual agreement, but that is just my speculation. There are two hardcore sales pitches and the rest of the speakers were very good (except for the lady who started these seminars with her husband. She was way over rehearsed). I am not sure if you are aware of this or not, but there is a slight religious tilt (Christian) to the whole thing. It didn't bother me, but if you are sensitive to these things, you might want to go in prepared. I thought it was an overall good experience and if you were apart of the "group" rate, which I think was like $5 a person, then it is really worth it.

MS 13
There was a show on last night (National Geographics Explorer - World's Most Dangerous Gang) about the gang MS 13. Do any of you guys have this gang in your area? LA seems to be loaded with them (as well as many other US cities). It's such a shame to see these things.

Jerkbait Storage
It definitely does. Untangling those hooks are a nightmare.

Jerkbait Storage
I have hook bonnets on every treble hook lure I own. The Cabelas hook bonnets are really easy to get on and off, yet they are secure enough and don't just fall off.

In case some of you guys forgot (Sports)
Apparently he had completely given up on the skins. Imagine how low you have to get to become a Ravens Fan. I feel for that man. His life must be horrible.

Hail to the Redskins, Hail Victory, Braves on a Warpath, Fight for ol' Dixie! If the Steelers were to somehow disappear, the Redskins would be my team.

How long does your speech have to be?

need some help with my speech
How about broadening the scope of the process? Instead of "How to cast a baitcaster", make it, "How to used a baitcaster". Then you can add the step of spooling it, setting the drag, adjusting the braking system, etc. This will lead you into your "casting" part, but you could also add in a "retrieving" section. If you need even more steps, then I would call the process "How to use a Baitcasting Reel for fishing a Rubber Worm." That will allow you to add a step on the retrieval sequence. You can add or subtract steps in the process by redefining the scope of the process. Your controlling variable will be your time duration in which you have to give the presentation.

G Loomis Warranty explained through American Fishing Legacy
This is incorrect. G Loomis does not allow the use of the Xpeditor Service with "obsolete" rods. I'm surprised American Legacy is unaware of this one.
